Ok my Sister keeps me up with what people are doing on our Dads side. I have never been one to use people I know like I have a Cousin with same name as mine if I do something good and it gets back to him he takes credit. Had a Girlfriend was always bragging on the fact she was dating a U.S. Hillbilly. What brought this up is for several years I've seen this person on T.V. with a very unusual last name but the same as my Mothers Maiden name. Would it be appropriate to ask this person if we might be kin? Don't really matter but yes I'm curious. oneshot

Your right. But this doesn't mean that people in the U.S.A. can't put out same quality. I remember Mom studying putting Circuits in Zenith T.V.s when they first open. My wife went to College for the Medical Field, found she wasn't making enough. I talked her into going to College for Computers. She was hired but the Boss wasn't going to have a woman working under him. Because he told her behind closed doors there was nothing she could do. The company told her she still had a Job but she would have to move. Because of her Background she has a Job she enjoys even though she don't make that much. Me I went to Trade School first to learn Body Work . Then Firearm Repair but it has been so long things have changed and I've forgot some. My Children went to College but to me it was for none productive work. They are making good money just not producing anything. Our Daughter told her Mom no one works like this anymore. She works from Home and travels when she wants. She is good about putting us down. Our one Son was very upset because he wasn't able to retire at 38. Just not the same as we were but we wanted them to have it better than us. So! Oh I worked Union Job following in my Fathers footsteps not done anymore. oneshot

Years ago I was talking with a Senator that said they rather see no Jobs in Missouri and buying cheap China Junk. ????? I told them that I believe that people rather be employed making good money and pay more for quality products made in this country. My wife complains about the price I pay at one place but like I tell her it is Good Quality and worth it. oneshot

Most time I try to buy Quality but not top of the Line. Money changes people. I know at Lead Mine the Mennonites have changed from what they was in the early '90's. I was friends with Johnny Morris in '70's. I don't know him anymore. My Son has several businesses in Springfield completely different person. Yes I was the same hiring help on our Farm. I remember one time my wife made them Cold Sweet Tea, yes it was hot. But I told her I wasn't paying them to set around drinking Tea. I know of a couple Companies the Founders came out and said they knew their workers made them what they were and would take care of them. Since both died their Kids changed the companies for money. oneshot

Funny my Mother in Law bought my wife a box of Chocolate Covered Cherries for Valentines Day. I told my wife she should thank her Mom for buying them for me. She says your trying to cause trouble an't you? oneshot

My Son came here seen a box where I had bought a New Pair of Binoculars and asked why? I already have a Compact set. Like I told him right now I use them watching Birds at my Feeder. I was wanting a Cut Off Saw but my wife talked me into buying a Miter Saw, which I like. Bought couple Air Nailers, Pole Saw, Wood Splitter and Scopes for my Rifles and all this my Son ask why? Why should I be explaining why I buy stuff? But funny thing is who is all the time using my stuff? oneshot

I might add most this is for my wife. She has never seen the Gulf or Ocean. I lived on the Ocean and have been to New Orleans. She lived in California but never been to the Ocean. We lived in Louisiana but she never went to the Gulf. We went to Florida she never went to the Ocean and hated Florida. Might also add we lived in the Mountains but I hated the Mountains. I've always liked Minnesota, Virginia and North Carolina but always liked Missouri, maybe it is my safe zone I know where things are. oneshot

There is other Beaches. My wife brought up the fact you probably went on out into the Gulf. I'm want to fish from shore. There is several places just a matter of catching the fish there. Have to be 16 inches long on Reds and allowed 5. Seems cold weather pushes them into the canals but that does out swimming. We had a trip planned for Grand Isle but Katrina had other plans. Bad when good Fall Fishing coincides with Hurricane Season. oneshot

Yes I retired from a Union Job. What brought this up was Companies that filed Bankruptcies but came back and there was the Company that I retired from. It said the main thing was getting rid of the Union. When I worked there I found how strong the Union was. I worked 7 days a week 365 days a year because the company said I was the only one that could put out this product. No I didn't have a Family Life but I made good wages and 100% Health Insurance and Pension. At the time I could go anywhere in town and buy stuff on credit but I had enough to make payments and still live. I still followed everyone else fighting Scabs when Strike came, I fought against Right to Work but I found when the Company went against the Contract they would. One time I asked a Union Steward if he would back me. I was in the right as far as Contract but when push came to shove the Steward ran. I retired they quit making the product I had. After I retired I worked Open Shop in Kansas and Non Union place in Arkansas. Both places made more that I did working here. I always figured they should do away with Minimum Wage, wages go down everything else adjust but we seen wages go down. It didn't work that way, products stayed the same price or went up. My wife was working for a Company making Good Wages. It went to Mexico. Doing the same work she went to work for the Military making Minimum Wage. I went to other countries considered Poor with U.S. money, I lived as a King but even though many made Low Wages everything adjusted to this wage. Ah just posting because anymore workers don't matter. Companies have gotten Big and depend on putting out more High Price Products at the Lowest cost the heck with the workers. oneshot

Early this morning my Mother in Law called my wife saying she had messed her Phone up. My wife walks over there then went to work. I call my wife asking what was wrong? Oh Mom thought she was deleting Recent but deleted Contacts. oneshot

Figure it will cost around a Thousand Dollars, which I have. Cost us that much going to Branson but most that was Alcohol when I was drinking. oneshot

Did you eat them and would you swim on the Beach? I did a search on fishing from the bank seems to be good from some spots using Shrimp catching 16 inch +. Much better during Winter but my wife is wanting to swim. oneshot

When we lived there Paper Mills was the Big thing and several Oil Rigs. My Kids hated Catfish and Rice all the time. TV was mostly Cajun French. My wife was all the time asking what they was talking about. Found a lot of White Folks were very crooked. oneshot

Oh we use to live down there. Before I got down last Fall had a Houseboat rented my wife was ready to go swimming off it. I got family down there. A few in my Family are no longer welcome in the state. She likes swimming in Truman. Just hope it isn't flooded like last year. oneshot

Location like I tell my wife our House here is close to Bennett Spring State Park and our Cabin is close to Truman Lake. Best of both worlds. oneshot

I think my wife would be happy. Be heck to drive 12 hours only to find a mess. Be nice to go up there Moral Hunting but going to be busy with Radiation. Be done when Squirrel Season starts. oneshot

Was thinking going down to Louisiana Gulf fishing for Reds and Trout from the bank and Swimming to keep my wife happy. Well went through finding where to go and place to stay. Then reading more found not advised to eat fish or swim in most the waters because of pollutants. My wife says she will be more happy just going to our Cabin at Truman Lake. Thoughts Guys??? oneshot

My wife found a Cabin by ours with much less. They wanted much more than I figure ours is worth. I always sell stuff for what I would give for it and then my wife is mad at me. Told a Real Estate Agent what I gave for our House. She said with the market it is worth 6X that. oneshot

I know they took me off Blood Thinners and I immediately got another Blood Clot and had to give myself shots in my stomach. Then they put me back on Blood Thinners. They could amputate my Leg and this would take care of a lot of my problem. I was on 20 some medications but now on 3. I wouldn’t be on one if I hadn’t drank Whiskey and dipped SKOAL for years. And wouldn’t be on the other if they had amputated my Leg. New deal my Shoulder. Yes I destroyed it and have not had use of it for a year but I’m learning how to deal. They are talking about fusing it but I need to talk to them more on this. They found Cancer in my Prostate and removed it this is the reason I have no control over my Urinating or Erection. But I’m working on control of my Urinating before I start Radiation. If I don’t the Doctor said they can put a valve in. Like I told my sister they put a pump in to get an erection and a valve in for my urinating I can use both together and not pee on my pants. LOL oneshot

I started having trouble with Arthritis, I was already on Pain Medication for Bone Disease and can't take Anti Inflammatory because of Blood Thinners, so my Doctor doubled my Pain Medication. I tried Alcohol. It worked but over time it almost killed me. There is Doctors in the Bible. I do know at times I can't get out of Bed and obviously I don't have enough faith because I go to the Lord and still have to just lay there. My wife has tried to help me up and in the end told her to forget it. Must not be doing a lot of things right. Hips and one Leg gives me problems. Can't really use one Arm. Arthritis puts me down. Can't control my Urination. Can't get an Erection. Have trouble Hearing and my Mind don't work on the fly I have to take my time. But still try to do. oneshot

Mind don't work like it use to I have to remember I have a GPS my wife gave me and don't argue with the GPS because it knows more than me. If all fails use my Cell Phone, call that one with the star. I was told it is my Medication and nothing I can do about it. oneshot
