Rain yesterday brought the river up, it is good for Floating but not so for fishing. Wall to wall people. Notice several places couple acres sold and people with New Stuff clearing and Building. I told my wife I can't see people getting so excited. She said think of it we go to St. Lois or Kansas City we get just as excited being someplace New. Things sure have changed in 47 years. oneshot

Was moving a Herd of Goats one time. Half of them jumped a Fence and I don't think they realized they did it. Never had any get out. oneshot

Got a Dog now that use to belong to our Son. He was with us couple years, I told Son to come get his Dog. Daughter in Law said if Son got him he would go to the pound. I said nope I'll keep him. Months later Son said soon as he got Fence up he would come get the Dog. I told him he wasn't getting the Dog back. Had the Dog about 5 years now. He has decided to climb a four foot Fence, then go to Front Door wanting in. Thinking of putting up a Hot Wire. oneshot

After the rain went below the Park. Water has some color but good depth. Caught 4 nice Rainbows on White Power Bait. Threw one small one back. I'm going to smoke them. oneshot

Was there yesterday and was told where to catch Cats and kill some Hogs so maybe me and my Son can put up some meat before I’m operated on and laid up all Winter. oneshot

Really have never seen Amish on the Niangua seen plenty Mennonites. Not saying Amish don’t fish it because I have seen them around. They do have cars so they can get around. Catch a lot of Smallmouth and Goggle Eye if I’m fishing for them. oneshot

She knows she has a Crazier Brother. He got a Married Woman pregnant, she divorced her husband, married my Brother, had her Ex and my Brother living in the same house. One time my Brother supposedly got accidentally shot by her Ex 2AM while he was cleaning his gun. oneshot

Oh me and sis get along great speak with her every day. We are much older now, she has been married 34 years. Only sister I have left. Got Grandbabies now. I got her and her husband together. she knew for most part I was teasing. oneshot

I use to use a Tripod and Timer. Worked great. My Sister for years would change Clothes in the Shower because of me. I told her Boyfriend I would get nudes. She is like NO!!! LOL. I had a set up where I could take pictures from several hundred yards away. oneshot

There is Signs along the river bank that mark end of Park Property it use to be middle of the river. I asked MDC about it and they said people from the Park can fish the river but can’t keep Trout unless they have a Trout Permit. When the Park Ranger was writing Tickets the Park was closed for Trout fishing but we was fishing for Goggle Eye casting from the river towards the Bridge. oneshot

They changed it to where at the end of the spring it is no longer the Park. The Park Ranger has wrote Tickets for casting from the river to the Wooden Bridge but let’s it slide people Fishing the river and keeping Trout with just Daily Park Permit . If your going to enforce the Law it should be for all far as I’m concerned?? oneshot

Ok went to the Gasconade and seen couple Chicken Liver containers. Is there Catfish in there of any size North of Lebanon? oneshot

Drove over to Pomme de Terre Lake and can’ t get in where I usually go because of mud but the Lake is down to where if you’re Bank Fishing can and it looked like the Ramps are open. Hunting will be interesting because most COE land was flooded so no crops. oneshot

Was surprised to see Old Order Mennonites Smoke, Chew and Drink. See a woman one time had the Long Dress and Bonnet but was also wearing a Leather Bikers Jacket. Then I met her Boyfriend that explained it all. oneshot

We was friends to many Old Order Mennonites in Lead Mine. Like I told them I considered them as anyone else just different beliefs. oneshot
