  1. Pepsi donates large amounts of money to anti gun. So the choice is clear for me! Coke all the way.
  2. Firefox has been great for me. I have had it for years. I like the updates and downloads. I also like the idea of not giving Mr Gates 100% of my money. I am not greedy I just think Mr Gates has enough money.
  3. Thanks for getting back up and running!
  4. I wanted to thank you for having the fourm. I wasn't worred about a little down time.
  5. Is that bones I see along the bottom of the photo? If so you must have parked near his dinner plate! Is that safe
  6. They work great if sized right. Most people don't want to pay to get the right size. As far as a 30 sec warm up. For starers you have to get all the cold water between the heater and you water valve that has been setting and gotten cold. second it takes just a few seconds for it to start heating the water Gas heaters dont just set with the burner running it takes a little while for the burner to purge and ignite before anything gets heated. The same for your house heater it wont blow hot air the moment it comes on. However they do work very nice if they are not under sized.
  7. Dano Mine made it and I put them on today. Thanks a lot.
  8. I just don't get it! I had a lady run a stop sign today and she give me the bird and was yelling! It just floored me. And that was in a small town of about 800 ppl. What is up with that!

  12. With out a doubt I think the baby boomer's did more thinking and technological inventions than any other generation. I am proud of part of it. However I am ashamed that the family values have went out the window. Not very many family's eat dinner at the table and take time for their children or parents as far as that go's. Lack of compassion and caring has went by the wayside. Just watch people drive. There is a very large amount of tail gating, pulling out in front of, speeding, crowding, yelling, honking and road rage Than ever. I have driving in big city's all my life and I never seen as much as I do in our small communities as I do today. When was the last time any one of us went next door and help. I mean just because we are friendly. From fence building up to barns and house roofing. Just be honest. We don't, however we all expect someone to help us and are disappointed when it dose not happen! When we see need we look for money! Its just a fact of live. Is it a better live? I would debate it........We know one word that is unspoken, its called GREED. And that one we have down like no other country has. I hate to be down but the truth is the truth. I am glad to meet a few good people that are not that way and its a breath of fresh air. Most I have met here. Keep up the good work friends!
  13. jdmidwest, Cool I will try that. I dont want to use ortho unless I have to. I never was one to use much of that kind of stuff.
  14. Yep those were the god times. I am the oldest of five my brother and I were up at 4:30 to do chores and on the bus at 6:30 for school. We ot home about 4:30 and back to chores untill 6:30 for supper. Cleaned up did a little homework and off to bed. That was our school week. Weekend were loaded with chores so we would rush through them so we could have a little time for our oun things. We never had to chop a lot of wood however milking feeding calfs sloping hogs cleaning barns mending fences. Summer we did all that plus planted and made hay. Always looked foward to rain because the fields were to wet and we could fish. This is all true no joking. However as I have said it really was a good life. It taught us how to think for our selfs and entertain our selfs. I think more kids should have a little bit of this and thay might understand how nicew they have it.
  15. Terry, I understand that. When I was a kid if we would have ever said to Mom and Dad that we were bored they would have found another bunch more chores for us to do on the farm. Any time we had a little bit of free time we sure stayed out from under their feet and out of their way. We were seldom seen and seldom heard. We had very little TV to watch and found other ways to entertain our selfs. Outside and the barn was our play grounds, never in the house unless it was just way to cold. You know zero or below. A second hand bike and a used Zebco 202 was a great thing and we sure kept it put up because if we did't we would be back to using a stick and some string. I know by todays world it sounds bad but truthfully I think it was GREAT!

  21. Maybe it was one of them zebco 202's ya think... I meen if it was a 33 one might understand.... Its had to belive I agree Terry just how stupid can some be!!!!
  22. Very few of us are happy with what they have. I have been there and done that. It wasn't untill the last 3 or 4 years that I became content with my old car, guitar, rod and reel, tackle box and such. well the list grow on but you get the point. I have found that If I wait and buy what I really want it cost a lot less than buying the one that I dont want but would work and later purchasing the one I really wanted to start with. So now I save my coins and wait untill I can get the one I really want. More people need to try this it works!

  25. This is a good read. http://www.blackbearheaven.com/bear-attacks-on-humans.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fatal...erica_by_decade Black Bear in North America, the population declined to a low of 200,000 as a result of habitat destruction and unrestricted hunting. By current estimates, more than 800,000 are living today on the continent today. I would say their on the incress.
