Great job girls. I remember the days I got to youth hunt with my daughter, they were some of my best hunts. They get old fast do enjoy your time with them.

I fished Thursday evening from dark until midnight and had 1 white 1 channel cat and a limit of crappie.Was kinda surprised at no more whites.

My 5000 laid down on me sucker grabbing Wed. It will reel line in when it has nothing on it but when you have a fish on it locks up. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Banjo Minnow in purple, black, or dark blue is all I ever use fore them Vonreed. Will try a slider next trip though.

huntest, if you have fish to clean and are around Swan Creek they have a fish cleaning station at Shadow Rock camp ground. They have lights, running water and the works. The station has a chute that puts your fish heads back in the water just below the moth of Swan Creek. I use an ironing board when I am not around there and they do work great. I take the wife along and while I fish she takes in ironing fore some fishing money! LOL

We were in Gatlinburg in July fore about a week didn't do any fishing but there local vacation channel told of a lot of places to go. If you have never been to Cades Cove try to drive the loop there. We saw 15 bears and countless deer and turkeys. Was as close as 10 yards from some of the bears and deer, got some great pictures. Enjoy your trip. Slider -
Me and 2 buddy's grabbed 58 yellow suckers in Arkansas this morning. We had a crew went Tuesday and grabbed 93. Saw lots and lots of Bass..................................................... No gig marks or grab holes in any of them! LOL Slider

Oneshot if you don't mind fishing after dark all of the amish go home just about dark.

oneshot we throw 1/16 or 1/32 depending where were standing or how fare the fish are from the bank. I like to go as small as I can, seems like the slower I can bring it back in and keep it of the bottom the better luck I have. Our Thursday night trips are just around the corner maybe we can hook up and fish with you. Slider

Just got home from the dam at Warsaw after 2 nights of fishing. Thursday my daughter Mekayla had the best night of fishing in her life she caught 10 white bass and her limit of crappie. I had 15 white's and 13 crappie. All of these were caught between 8 to 11 after dark. Friday we didn't do as well she had 10 crappie 1 white and a flat head, I caught a limit of crappie and 10 whites. Same times as the night before all on purple, and blue bettles. Slider

I'm a Loomis man, I would go with a lite or medium lite. I also have a Bionic Blade from Bass Pro that I like but it's not a Loomis just a little easier on the wallet.

Ness, when I am out in the tick woods I use Raid ant and roach killer. It really does the trick. I try to get some unsented or a fragrance the original has a bad chemical smell but they all seem to work great fore me.

You should have been throwing a banjo minnow they are deadly on white's in swan.

I just got home from Warsaw, fished Friday caught a few crappie and a 6 lbs hybrid 1 18 lbs Blue and three more under the 24 inch limit. Had to throw 2 back that were over 24 inch limit. The blues were tearing crappie jigs up. Fished again Sat. had 9 crappie 13 whites and a 5 lbs hybrid, the blues didn't hit the crappie jig fore me Sat. but I did see a few caught in jigs. All the white's came on top water so that a was a blast. Slider -
The whites were smaller than I had hoped fore but they are just about the right eating size. I was surprised that the females still had eggs though. We did catch a few small hybryds didn't keep any as they have so much potential to be much bigger fish. Slider
