Spending next week at Table Rock. We want to come over one day to TRY and catch a few trout. I see people use worms how do you set up rigs for this? Do they stay around docks or just let boat float down with current or what. Also is the ramp by the landing private or public? Anything to worry about hitting in water between landing and highway bridge? All help greatly appreciated.

I drive KC to Pomme loz Truman or Stockton every week. $70 truck gas and $30-50 boat gas. More during tournies. I swear my 225 efi must have a hole in fuel system somewhere.

I have caught one almost 4lbs in Niangua arm. Have also caught them below Warsaw and up in upper gravois

Yep get a guide. Table Rock is a different animal then most lakes.

Spent today in gravois. Go there and make 3 casts with a jig. Where the dock cable hooks to the dock. To the walkway supports and then where the dock cable is stretched over about 2 feet of water. Put trolling motor on high go around to the other side of dock and repeat. Spawning on all 3 of these spots on every dock.

Coming down tomorrow and staying on taneycomo for the weekend before going to our condo on table rock next week. I'm staying at lakeshore resort and plan on fishing between there and 65 bridge. I want to try trout fishing a little but I have no clue what I'm doing. Can u just drift the boat with the current and drag power bait worm behind the boat? Also is bass fishing any good this far up in the lake. I see slot of little creeks coming into taneycomo in this area. I'm assuming if they are up in that area this is a good place to start. Jigs,grubs,tubes? What's a good lure to start with. Would love to get a guide but reason I'm off is because were laid off from work for 2 weeks so I'm going cheap. Anyway any help is appreciated. 1 more thing what is good outboard etiqutte on the river. Don't wanna be the idiot in the bass boat. Do you idle past people drifting or is it okay to run thru?

Coming down this weekend. Will the aunts creek area be very busy this weekend. Any ideas on what part of the lake would be the least crowded.

I was down thursday fishing out of gravois in the rain all day. going back to the ramp there was major debris coming down by the ramp. Im thinking of coming back down Monday , has anyone been out of gravois since thursday? You think that mess will clear up by monday?

Saw 51 yesterday afternoon in gravois. Lake is way down. Threw a wiggle wart all morning without a bite. Switched to a black and blue jig in brush right on the back corner of docks and caught 7 in 2 hours. Next few weeks should.be really good.

so if the lake stays stable now,will hermitage state park for sure stay open, my clubs classic is there in 3 weeks

6.85 won the $50000. I got sixth in one of the weigh ins and got $600 with a 5.17 They paid 20 spots every two hours , four times each day. Took over 6 to win 7 of the 8 weigh ins and right around 4 to get 20th. They are doing one of these tourneys next year in April. Should ne interesting to see what it takes to win that.

The big bass bash was going on Saturday and Sunday. There was 1900 of us out there fishing for 1 big bite. $50000 for the biggest fish of the weekend.

I managed to lose a good largemouth ,smallmouth and spot today. Hooked a pretty good.largemouth on a point in a bush this morning . Got Hung and broke off. Then I went out deep on the point and hooked a good 3 and half lb spot got up to the side of.the boat and it pulled off. Then tonight my wife and I went back out and I hooked a huge smallmouth on a tube and it jumped and spit it out. I give up tomorrow has to be better.

Coming down this weekend. Wondering if anyone is doing any good in long creek. Hopeing to catch them dragging a tube. I suck at dropshotting.

Anybody know if they will get the lake up to full pool this week with the rain and keep it up?
