Great story! Up until this past year, I went with my uncle and cousin 10-15 times per year on the weekends! What a blast, walking along the edge of the woods listening to the dogs and stopping every once in a while to look at the millions of stars! Nothing like it! Thanks Terry!

Personally I think the guides should capitalize on it by charging for the info, via a newsletter, maps, etc.....go ahead Bill, sneeze!! Make it a reasonable fee and make some money! I can understand why you are upset!!

Terry, bought a WJ Fusion vest on this forum, used it a couple of times and wound up selling it on Ebay. Did not like the molded pockets. Have a WJ Riptide and I really like it. It has tons of room for everything I carried in my vest and then some. I really like the built in zingers and it is very comfortable with the pading (good back support). Only drawback is the fact that it is large enough to carry everything, which weighs it down. I really like the WJ products, but not many shops carry their product and I am not sure why.....other than price. I wouldn't be able to afford them......buy mine used!

Haven't touched a baitcast rod and reel since I started fly fishing 5 years ago. Was at Dicks Sporting Goods store with my neighbor this evening and they had a Shimano 6'6" Im6 medium action baitcast on clearance for $24 (Orig $40). I made the mistake of picking it up and pretending to cast......Nice Rod! Well, I purchased it to go along with one of the Abu Garcia 5500's my Grandfather left me. My question is.......it is a 2 piece rod and they had a 6' that was one piece. Can you tell/feel the difference between the 2pc vs 1pc?? I wanted the longer rod, but if there is a huge difference between the two, I make exchange it for the one piece. Thanks for the help!

Pretty sad! Many break the law (not just poaching), because they know a lawyers will get them off! Why do high speed chases take place and when they bail and the cops chase them and catch them for resisting arrest, they get a lawyer and file suit against the cop. Look at all of the illegal immigrants (breaking the law) in this country and there are those in government that want to allow them to stay and make them citizens without going thru the process of becoming a citizen. CP is right.....this is a good place to fish, but you should probably wait for the water to go down.....and I would suggest taking Cardiac. It is much easier....just a gradual incline.

After 5 fishing trips, I can tell you that these are the most comfortable I have worn. Terry is correct, Simms changed a couple of new designs recently and they look pretty good......but as Mr. Beeson said, you would have a hard time getting me to give up my Chotas!!
