Call me crazy but... I believe the bailout will not work. It will only prolong the inevitable hard times to come. Someone got the 700 billion and it wasn't you or me. Does anyone think major failures of big banks and companies have stopped? The credit crunch has yet to deliver the full economic blow to the economy. Business profit losses and unemployment rate increases have already resulted because of the credit crunch. An 800 point drop in the Dow today reveals lack of confidence in the economy on a global perspective. How long will bargain hunters rebound huge daily drops in the market like that? Does anybody know what has become of the "retired" CEO's and CFO's of Fannie and Freddie? Are they being investigated for criminal actions like those of Enron and Worldcom? Yep, I had to laugh at their expense. Some of that stuff out there is hardcore ultra stink. It just amazes me what the producers go through. The best part is the printing on the package that states the contents are not for human consumption. I'm thinking the print wouldn't be there unless some idiot has already...... Don

We were dead center first row in the balcony. Five of us saw him for the first time after a wonderful gathering over an excellent dinner and relaxation with imported and domestic libations. We gathered at Millie's Cafe out on the patio. The weather was perfect and it was one friend's birthday. Joe was unbelievably awesome He exceeded all our expectations and then some. A must see for anyone who thinks they even like rockin' blues. He's on a world tour now. I will see him again if he comes back. It's very obvious why he has has accolades from "Guitar Player" magazine and "Billboard". After posting, I had to edit because of the venue. The Gillioz Theatre is small and intimate for a concert setting. The remodeling results of an old beat up dinosaur were mesmerizing. Very Classy. I spoke to the project manager before the show and she was explaining and showcasing details that Mr Gillioz used years ago that were reimplemented such as the adjustable colors of the hall lights and etc. It was like a palace. You would just have to see it for youself. Don May

Troutchaser, I see where you are coming from. I guess just how many meathunters will keep those between 20 and 24. I see that you think most will release in that group of big fish that it won't change what's really caught and released down there anyhow. The proposal does mean more brownies back into the lake for those meathunters or live trout mounters who obey the law. That's why i voted yes. I found humor in the title of the thread .

I was amused about a poll result that was mentioned on the news the other day. It stated one candidate was leading the other about 4%. The reporter then stated there was a 3-4% error so that made the race a dead heat. I'm sick and tired of these spinners. Margin of error means error could result in both directions, therefore, resulting in either a dead heat or 8% lead for the candidate .

Dang, I was going for Kelly Gallup until read this. I've also been talking to M. Kyle and it really hurts me to say in public that i will not make the Clave because of employee availability or unavailibility at the time of year.. the rest of you reading this need to go. Even though I have never taken illegal drugs, I realize there are many competent individuals who have "experimented" in the past. many of those running our country and Fortune 500 companies. Obama was on a talk show and was asked if he inhaled. He replied something like ,"Isn't that the point?" At least I did not hear "I did not inhale." Obama and Bush Ivy Leaguers and potheads? I think from now on that each time one says I'm an Ivy Leaguer they should also say I'm a pothead. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are. By the way, regardless of party and platform, these folks we are criticizing as well as defending and supporting are merely our trustworthy politicians.
