  1. At least you didn’t leave them in a pile at the ramp
  2. Black buff are listed as a species of concern in Oklahoma only one can be taken and it must be reported to the state....buff were more common not as much anymore
  3. You are right with some Exceptions, if I give away 30 crappie fillets to slappy Jones and he goes crappie fishing...HE not the giver is in violation...until those fillets are used....which leads to some interesting possibilities...while someone is at the lake...you COULD give slappy Jones wife a frozen block of 50 river caught crappie fillets and report him....and by law he’s in violation... because the person getting the fillets must count them in there possession limit....also wounded fish that are not likely to survive must be kept.... 3 CSR 10-4.136 Giving Away Wildlife PURPOSE: This rule establishes the provisions by which the taker may give wildlife to another person. Wildlife, except black bear gallbladders, that is legally taken and possessed may be given to another only by the taker after completion of the day’s fishing or hunt. Any wildlife given to another shall continue to be included in the daily limit of the taker for the day when taken. Wildlife, except black bears, deer, elk, and turkeys taken in Missouri, shall be labeled with the full name, address and per- mit number of the taker, species, and the date when taken. Black bears, deer, elk, and turkeys taken in Missouri shall be labeled with the full name and address of the taker, the date taken, and the Telecheck confirma- tion number of the black bears, deer, elk, or turkeys. Wildlife received as a gift shall be included in the possession limit of the recipient.
  4. The part about separating and labeled the catch?
  5. Imagine a B 29 wide open lake level fly by at 2am 🤔🤔🤔😳😳😳😉
  6. How about this blasting about at 12 midnight blasting AC/DC? Bet it would make some coin....call it moon light on the lake...adult beverages extra!....as far as I know no noise regs or speed limits.....just the thing for people to give the finger to society....
  7. DAILY AND POSSESSION LIMITS You may possess no more than the daily limit of any given species while you are on waters, or on the banks of waters, where daily limits for those species apply. Any species taken into actual possession, unless released unharmed immediately after being caught, shall continue to be included in the daily limit of the taker for the day. Where only catch-and-release fishing is allowed, fish must be returned unharmed immediately to the water after being caught. The possession limit is twice the statewide daily limit. Fish you take and possess must be kept separate or distinctly identifiable from fish taken by another person. If you are away from your catch, the device holding the fish must be plainly labeled with your full name and address.

  11. Guess you can “chance it”......in reality if the man wants to bust you...he’s going to bust you.....
  12. Live scope is a game changer...the tools let average anglers catch fish like savvy old farts. GPS...Spot lock now live scope
  13. If you catch them they count to YOUR possession no matter where they are stored...they are supposed to have who caught them and where/when......it’s often violated regulation....if you have 5 in your family THEY have to catch the fish...kinda like someone buying tags for the 5 year old
  14. On aside note the coast guard is going to push the legal lighting issue....apparently moving is a no no with the big floodlights on..must be anchored....moving..albeit slowly is still moving..obstruction of red green bow lights..guess they have to be visible a considerable distance.....and something about over weight boats...was a couple of high profile drownings....some org back east...moms for boat safety or women for...I’ve slept since I read it....
  15. I think there are way too many tourneys on some of our waters...it has merit that catching 100 keeping the best 6 the releasing still does harm, fish management needs an experiment, pic for a study with enhanced regulations..for less economic impact say Stockton.....limit tournaments to a very low number, requires all contestants information all catches recorded.....reduced bag limits to 2 fish on LMB and smallmouth must be 20”....spotted bass 12” 8 bag limit...walleyes 2 must be 20” crappie 10 must be 12”... sunfish 15 -8”. Close the lake to all fishing 3days a week starting March,April,May and June....lake closed to all boats yaks too....4am to 11pm....
  16. Missouri does a good job, but there is room for improvement....many conflicts between user groups...just need more selective harvest IMHO
  17. Giving away fish doesn’t take them from your possession limit, you are supposed to label your catch with name/date....be better served catch and release for bigger fish and buying the family that needs food hotdogs for a buck or a long John silvers gift card....too much harvest pressure on all waters anymore

  19. It seems so many load up on fish, crappie is an example...TR you can keep 15 fish 10” or more per day....if you have 30 in your freezer....catch any more you legally are over your limit.....how much better would our fishing be if meet hogs just followed the regs? https://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/newshound/2014/05/new-mexico-poacher-busted-having-1600-rainbow-trout-over-limit/
  20. What was big fish?
  21. Heard of a guy that limited out on crappie and caught 3 bonus yellow perch and a keeper walleye on of all things a sabiki rig bounced on bottom ....all I know is the hooks on his rig were 4 and the lead was a 3/4 oz bell weight....was a bit mum on depth but I suspected pretty deep or he would not be using that heavy of weight
  22. Japan has a relative that gets 5 feet long!
