I have a Minnkota TM and Lowrance 520C and was told that Minnkota's where bad about causing interference on graphs after about a year. Some days the black lines show up and sometimes they don't. I've had 4 different transducers on the boat and nothing changes. I even tried putting foam or padding between the TM and transducer. I know this isn't much help but wanted to let you know it's common. I know of other guys who have this same issue. I'm kind of curious if anyone has a fix myself.

Motoman- I got the double action siphon feed. That's a great idea on painting upside down! I thought about it the other night when cleaning up the cups but never tried it. Will definitely give it a shot though!

Thanks for all the input and help guys. I ended up going with a kit from Harbor Freight. Got the airbrush, hose, compressor, and all the other stuff it comes with for less than $100. I chose not to spend a lot of money up front just to make sure I liked it. Long story short...It's addicting! I've got a lot to learn and have only painted a few baits but attached is my first wiggle wart I painted. It actually looks pretty good in person for my first "craw" pattern. It was chrome and black to start with...

Anyone have any suggestions on airbrush kits? Looking at playing around and painting some baits this winter but wanted some opinions on the equipment needed. Been looking at some airbrush kits on Janns Netcraft(I think its a Paasche brand??)but didn't know if they were any good or not. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Got out for a few hours Saturday and probably caught 10 or so. Put in at Blue Springs and the water temp was mid 40s way up there. That was before this cold snap. Caught them cranking and on a jig. Nick at Hook, Line and Sinker said it took 21lbs to win Roger Harp's tourney last weekend!

It's dropped about 7 inches since Saturday. Don't know what they've got planned, but I'd like to see it stay where its at for a while.

I ended up staying close to home and fished Beaver. Had a pretty decent day throwing a wiggle wart and a jig half way back in creeks.

I think Mobile Marine in Lowell is putting on one winter series. A guy might call their shop and get some info. I think Roger Harp is putting one on as well. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
