put in @joe bald today @ 9 am fished the area pretty hard, skunked big time!! wind picked up and enough was enough back on the trailer @ 2.

tough day to say the least caught one 18" smallie in the brush and i mean IN the brush. nice solid fish tho. wind was h--- fished from about 10 till 4:30 saw em in there but tough just the one on watermellon candy twin tail. got to get better. sorry about the spelling of joe bald but was actually my typing that is lacking. lol

OR, you could give g-dooby a call and tell him he's doin a good job like Brownie.of course he's allready been fired. lmao

i like the cx much better than the cxx. maybe the spool of cxx i got was defective???? but it had such a bad memory in it that i finally pitched it! no prob. with the cx tho.

caught two nice smallies off a wind blown secondary pea gravel point using eikens jig and choppers twin tail in watermelon candy. caught em back to back first was just over 18" second was just under 18" nice healthy fish and still swimmin. went over to point 9 and picked up a couple k's that was keepers also still at large. all in all enjoyable 4 hrs. on the lake with only a couple sand fleas and no titanics.only wish i cudda started earlier 10 am b-4 got on the water,bet it was excellant in that heavy fog early.

I used to be an over the road driver and yes they DO ENFORCE THAT !! ALL LIGHTS IF THEY ARE ON THERE THEY GOTTA WORK. I think it has very little to do with public safety and EVERYTHING to do with REVENUE. MOST will give a warning or maybe a fix it ticket . Indian Point officer's name is BARNEY!!! and as I stated A genuine BUTT HEAD. What chapped me up was the money my family [8 adults 3 kids] spent in that community over the week end was NOT chump change but they can kiss that and something else good bye.

word to the wise, watch your p&qs with Indian Point gestopo. one helluva jerk!!! Family spent last holiday week end down there ,rented condo,jet ski's ate @ resturants all week end. jerk ticketed me for tail lights on boat!! popped a fuse when hooked up tp leave. wife was following so no one could run into me even tho the tail lights on the car showed up around boat but still wrote me up. A#1 jerk. last dime we will be spending there I can assure everyone.

kinda late but here it is for what it's worth. on the lake by 7 am sat. only 4 or 5 rigs in parking lot !!! started dragin a carolina rigged baby brush hog in pumpkin off of a 20' deep point leting it fall and just a light twitch hooked a 17'' big jaw first cast !! caught several more of about the same size then a 20"" that absolutly nailed it! caught a few more b4 all hell broke lose with one wave washing over the bow of my boat decided that was it so was on the trailer by 12. aunts creek park by that time was an absolute zoo with amatures backing boats and trailers over anything that was in the way!! to whoever it was that scratched the black"02 explorer with out leavin a note may the bad karma be all over you butt head!!

fished from 7:00 till 2:30 was slow but managed one keeper in 18 ft' on a pumpkin brush hog ,nice fat k. couple of small fish but nice day till lake fleas got out in force. no love on the top water bite. saw alot of boil ups but didn"t in any one place for any length of time. I'll try it early in am or maybe @ dusk today.

I fished point 10 area with about the same outcome one keeper spot early on chugger. switched to jig with no luck ended the day with a spoon was skunked on that. water temp was 87. boat and lake flees got so bad I put the boat on the trailer about 2:30.

years ago we used to catch em purdy good at night off those piers with big purple crawlers. we also scuba dive and i can tell you the bluffs @ the north side used to hold alot of large bass too.

got thrown from a boat with cowboy boots on several years, ago was very scary.

27.5 bow below the stairs in 1979 on a small silver spoon. no pics. but burned in my memory.

I think alot of those big crusers are rented outta the marinas, usually by drunks that have no clue or respect for others. I dont take my 18 ft. bass boat out holidays or most weekends for just that reason.

put the boat in @ cape fair @ 3 p.m., back on the trailer @ 8:30. real tough no crappie picked up a nice K on the bank with a swimming minnow. we tried bluffs,coves,pole timber,deep and shallow. stunk it up bad. purdy day on the rock tho.

fished up above bridgeport tues. in the rain only one keeper it was in the mouth of a small cove. 2 years ago was great in that area. had luck in the past @ aunts creek but notta!! two years in a row now oughtta make for some real nice ones .going out this p.m. not sure where yet but goin. bass bite has for sure taken up the slack but got the crappie hunger for sure. thanks!!.

have been looking forward to the crappie spawn all year so far mighty disapointing. just me or what?
