  1. AWESOME REPORT!!!!!!!! Thanks (hope you're keeping some secret weapons in your arsenal) Ha Ha (know you are) Thanks again for your time.
  2. Thanks EP, Look forward to fishing the tourney for a great cause. I will get on the "peoples choice" and hope to see you out on the water someday. Good Fishing to all, God Bless. Ed
  3. Hey Guys, Was wondering if the Tourney Re-Schedule (Benefit Team) for Jan. 27th is still on? And if anyone has a report over the weekend, that would be great! I have not had a chance to fish TB for a week or two. Taney bass are hit or miss. Some nice fish on jigs and stickbaits but we need some nasty weather to really kick them off. I am going to hit TB Monday and will be fishing Dam Area I think. Has anyone hit Long Creek Area lately? Let me know. Happy New Year to all and get ready for a blessed and exciting Tourney Year! Here is 1 of those fun Taney Bass, when you need to get out of the weather and have limited time.God Bless.
  4. Great job!! Just a super report and some great info for everyone to work with. Thanks for the time and info. Lovin that smallmouth bite!!
  5. J.E. It was nice to meet you and all the wonderful adult and kids that belong to the Teen Anglers. I hope we all have the chance to fish again together. I would love to see if we could pursue the winter fishing on Taney for bass. It would be really fun for the kids when they start biting really good. Keep in touch and Happy T-Day! Ed Bartell
  6. Fished last 2 days with Friday being a little better than today.wind helps big time. FB jigs and Wiggle Warts. Very nice smallies and some great LM on those Wiggle Warts shallow (3-10 feet) on chunk rock creek channels. The best bite is smallies on your favorite spot with a FB jig from 4 to 5:30p.m. Caught a limit of nice smallies in about 30 minutes tonight. It's awesome weather and the fishing is only getting better. Almost time to really start chasing those shad. Happy T-Day to all and good fishing.
  7. Thanks for the time and a "good old fashion" fishing report. It seems fall is in the air and each day, less tourneys and having the hunters choosing bucks over bass it should get better and better. Caught nice smallies on FB on Sat. one being 4.5#+. Just a lot of competition for those fish last week. Looking forward to having some "quiet time" on the lake. Thanks Again Bill!
  8. Hey, I love all the chit-chat, after all thats what builds great relationships and really is what our love for the sport is all about. And don't get me wrong cause I love all the great info from all over and about (in depth)everything about this lifestyle we call "fishing". But I need some good stuff. I need a good old fashion Fishing report. I have been out of the habit of giving mine, so I am more guilty than anyone. I will try to get back into and live up to my responsility giving the same of what I am asking for now. Hope to get the "good stuff". Thanks to all, Hunter
  9. Does anyone offer a course local (southwest Mo.) for the 6-pack? It sounds like its challenging but something that is absolutely needed. Please give me any info of some courses or schools to get a needed tests and paperwork/info. Thanks ya'll.
  10. Bill, That's what I'm saying!!! No Secret, just wanted to put it out there. Something different to the same trout report for Taney. Hunter
  11. I aint "skeerd"!! Just want people to have a good time!! If you really think that this a a big "secret". It really is not. There has been articles and people talking about fishing Bull Creek and Lower Taney for bass for years. The challenge is finding how to catch them consistantly. Just like any other body of water. I don't own it: just like to share it with fellow outdoorsman. Isn't that what it is all about? I have been very blessed and have caught more fish than alot of people would only hope to catch. Just keepin' it real. Hope to see you on the waters. "Hunter"
  12. I HAVE BEEN FISHING AROUND BULL CREEK AND BEEN KILLIN' THE BASS!!!! THIS IS A GREAT ESCAPE FROM FISHING DEEP AND FINESSE OF T.B. BIG PIG AND CRAWS SHALLOW AND BUZZ BAITS. HOW "BOUT" RATS AND SNAG FREE FROGS ON THE MOSS BEDS!!!! THIS IS FUN STUFF!!! IT'S LIKE "REAL' BASS FISHIN!! EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!!! ANY QUESTIONS???!!! LET ME KNOW! I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHOW YA. HUNTER

I FISHED IT LAST YEAR AND NO ANGLERS EVEN SPOKE ABOUT BEING LOCAL OR NOT. MY UNDERSTANDING IS YOU PAY TO STAY AND YOU CAN FISH IT. IF NOT, I'M FROM SOMEWHERES IN ALASKA CAUSE I PAID. NOT TO UPSET ANYONE. WE JUST HAD ALOT OF FUN WITH ALL THE ANGLERS LAST YEAR AND I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING SOME OF THE GUYS THAT FISH IT EACH YEAR. HUNTER

    Craws

Chuck, I will see you at the tourney. I fished it last year with my brother. I have a new partner this year. Made reso's today at the Lucky 13. I have always thrown natural colors. You look under almost any rock on this lake and you will find crawfish. Many sizes and colors, but all are in the natural schemes. Pumpkin seed,Pb&J,Brown,Watermelon,Light oranges, and Black/Blue (if cloudy and dingey water) all work. And if their on the pre- spawn, their hungery, they will eat. If the are on the beds, you need to get mad a little, brighter colors so they get mad and you see the bait move from a distance. On this lake you sometimes need to stay well off the bed because they get nervous easy. More than alot of lakes I have fished. We found bedding fish last year and caught 21 but only 2 kept. I had alot better pre-fish Friday with one fish over 5lbs. but could not find those big bites on Sat. You really need to try to find the bigger females staging. I think thats the key. We caught almost all aggressive smaller males. Kept us excited but didn't put $ in the pocket. I am ready this year!! Look out!! Best of luck to you and your partner. "hunter" Ed Bartell
  22. Caught 40 (15 keepers) 3/25, missed a bunch of bites also. Made for a great dinner. Using the wind, we drifted chart. and purple swimming minnow at mouth of cricket and long creeks. Marked and then caught fished suspended in 8-15 ft at water depth of 15 to 25 feet. Fished 5 hrs and fish were moving around, sometimes we could find a school and hit 3-5 fish. Just have to be patient and use that graph!Lots of females full of eggs. Spawn is just around the corner. Water Temp. 48-52. Good Fishin' Hunter
  23. I feel that it is never to early to jig. It is a year round, big fish bait. Just have to find the right jig for the conditions!
  24. ITS GOT TO BE KENTUCKY, WE CATCH QUITE A FEW OF THEM WHEN FISHING CRAPPIES. HECK, SOMETIMES YOU WOULD THINK WE ARE TARGETING THEM INSTEAD OF CRAPPIES.
  25. Ryan, Go to superbass.com. Member service>schedules. You get the info there. Keep me up to date, Hunter
