  1. OK great I will go out and look some more. I haven't had a ton of luck but I just walk the creek by my house and have found a dozen or so doing this. I wish I could hit a load more of them.
  2. found a handful of yellow close to my home and they were awesome but were starting to dry up. is the season done for now with this cold weather? or will the rain bring some more up?
  3. like this idea. good tip. I would like to be able to change out weights and hook sizes for sure. do you have a pic of your Jika? I was just using cheap bell sinkers and split rings with good success.
  4. No, thanks. I am sponsored by them so if you need any more just give me holler. Same company that makes KVD Line and Lure Condidtioner. another great product. Glad to hear you like it though. It won't last so long if you realize everything you can use it on. it is addicting. lol. I have used it on my camper, camper awning, golf cart, shower, countertops, football helmets, rain gear (mold and mildew prevention), boat carpet (stains come up easier). rods, vehicles inside and out, and many more.....lol. enjoy.
  5. Dutch, where to you buy yours at?
  6. I have used BTS for years now and I LOVE it. It does wonders all over the boat, inside and out, and don't forget to use it on your vehicles!! BTS is a polymer sealant that can be used in place of wax and only needs to be applied once a month or so. Otherwise just wipe down with a damp towel aftter pulling off the water.
  7. Don't let the wind scare you. They cast fine in wind and work great when its blowing a little.
  8. heck still took 23lbs last weekend and over 18 to check. I just think I sucked
  9. It was 2 weeks ago but I found it tough too. caught 2 MAYBE 3 keeps and a couple shorts. all but one came on one stretch of bank. tough day. but that was 2 weeks ago.
  10. I had heard that with the quickly dropping temps this year, it caused fish to stay a little deeper where the water may be a tad warmer???? but I don't know
  11. Decided to go to Pomme as well. I will probabl put in at Nemo or Hermitage. I have a black and white Nitro Z7. maybe see you there. have the deeper jerks been working better than the regular ones?
  12. what kind of water should I focus on?
  13. Going to Pomme or LOZ this weekend, can't decide. hows the fishing holding up?
  14. nevermind, saw the updated post. thanks
  15. Is the Megabass sold?
  16. Has it been announced where the MO regional will be held this year?
  17. have heard the density of the plastic also creates a different rattle. I don't know, I have caught fish with both old and new. The biggest difference I have heard and witnessed is the old ones have more of a hunting action to them. many say this is what makes them better. Rapala actually made a more quality wiggle wart and it runs more true. the old Storms seem to run much more inconsistent and hunt and dart erratically more often triggering bites........or so I have heard....
  18. Pro Blue is a standard color for LOZ. can't go wrong there. I like to have one with flash for sunny days, and a duller color for cloudy. also, the original or the +1 just depends on how deep the fish are.
  19. good artilce. looking forward to your article on locating bass in the winter.
  20. dang, missoed out on this one....great deal
  21. I got mine from Barlows. they were 10 for like $40. you do have to add snap swivels though.
  22. They are catching bigguns at Pomme. Small tourney there took like over 26 to win. 23+ was still 3rd!!! Wish I could get down there.
  23. just saw that the V2 does not have Lake of the Ozarks which is a main lake I am looking for.
  24. is this the newest version?
  25. nice boat. I have a 2010 with the 200 pro xs and love it. might try posting in the for sale over at bassboatcentral.com. there is also a ton of traffic over there. may have to pay a small fee to post, but boats usually sell pretty quick. I would think this rig would go fast.
