  4. I have just read this entire post, and all attached articles. I am nearly sick to my stomach. One of the lawyers said "The biggest crime I see here is theft by the government"....ain't that the truth.
  5. To answer your question, a simple rig is a split shot and either power bait or corn on a small hook
  6. Does josh come to bull shoals?
  7. Nice. Sounds like a good day.
  8. I have a trick to open doors on Chevy SUVs or trucks. You can actually pry the door open far enough to get a clothes hanger or dowel in there and either hit the lock button or slide the lock itself. Have done it at least four times for folks. Was showed this trick by a 16 kid in South Dakota. Locked keys in truck and called local dealership. Kid showed up with wire clothes hanger and a small wooden wedge. Had truck opened in like 30 seconds. Worth a shot if you you are stuck.
  9. You can buy them new for around $65 each if interested
  10. A friend of mine really needs to sale this boat, so I am trying to help him get the word out. Model 207 Supreme with 20 HP 2 stroke Johnson jet moter, and deluxe model ez loader trailer. All are 2001 year models. Owner is a retired guide and has a couple of boats, so this one needs to go. It was owned by an older gentleman prior to my buddy getting it and really does not have many hours on it. With all the high water of the last few years, it has seen little action.. It has been serviced by a local shade tree boat mechainc used by all the local giudes & trout docks. It has a long road/storage box and all the bells & whistles. They are asking $4750 which is a deal on this setup as new it would cost well over $7500. Email me at ozarkappraisals10@gmail.com or call me at 870-421-2155 and I will get the info passed along to the owner.

  12. I have a set of 16 foot stainless steel boat rails. They have been professionally powder coated. These are the same rails used by supreme boats. All mounting hardware included. $250 Call or text 870-421-2155, message me here, or email ozarkappraisals10@gmail.com for details
  13. Invest in some jerkbaits. Check old 2007 and 2008 threads forwhat to look for. Rogues and rapalas will do. Gonna be high water every afternoon in the summer. Some of the best fishing from footer to where you will be. I would also pinch thebarbs down on a lure or two and fish inside the c&r area.
  14. Looked like a pretty nasty day to be on the water. Can anyone post the results to the tourney today?
  15. nice report. i appreciate the info
  16. The boat has been sold. Thanks for all your views.
  17. Posting this for a buddy of mine. Here's his description: "I'm selling my J&S river boat. I bought this about 3 years ago off a guy who had bought a house that came with the boat. It had been in the garage for 2 years and never even taken out when I bought it. It was purchased originally new by the guy who had built the house as a weekend home. He had only taken it out a few times. When I purchased it, I had the motor serviced and found out it hadn't even been run enough to break it in. I have used it sparingly for the last 3 summers. This is a 2004 20' J&S boat with an E-Z Loader trailer. The trailer has a couple of dings on the fenders but is nothing major. Was like that when I bought it. You can see them in the pics. All the lights are in perfect working condition. The only thing the whole setup is missing is the spare tire but can be purchased easily. The boat is 42" at the bottom and 48" across the top. I installed rod holders in the front and back. The motor is a 2004 Nissan 4-Stroke 9.9. It is in "like new" condition and has been serviced this spring. The motor runs great and is very quiet. It will outrun most 15 hp motors. It isn't electric start but starts very easily. I have two props with normal wear. I had the power lift installed right after I bought it. As you can see in the picture, the marine battery (new as of this year) is located in a dry box under the seat. The switch is mounted conveniently under and to the right of the drivers seat. The battery lasts a long time on one charge and doesn't have to be recharged very often. The boat comes with driver's seat, 2 spider seats, gas tank and hose, oar, net, drain plug, 2 anchors, and a drag chain. This setup is ready to fish! This is an awesome setup and my family and I have really enjoyed using it. It's a great boat and I have had no problems whatsoever with it. The year model is deceiving because of the limited usage it has seen. It's practically new. I am asking $6000 firm. You won't find a ready to fish setup this nice for this price anywhere. You can contact me with any questions at 870-421-5257 or email me at aaronducker@gmail.com." I have personally seen this boat and fished in it and it is everything he describes. This is no doubt a great deal and if I didn't already have a boat, I would buy it. It was in unbelievable shape when he found it and bought it and he has taken great care of it. Someone needs to snag this boat up while you can before he changes his mind and keeps it!
  18. I'll bite, what's the special rig?
  19. I like your reports as is. I could care less seeing any pictures of stocker rainbows or non-keeper browns, so keep them short and sweet. When you catch something picture worthy, post them
  20. I think it would be worth a try for the price. Most packs are just a couple of bucks. You might have to try a couple different kinds before he finds one that will work. If he has pretty good dexterity with his better hand, I would think the mid to large size duo-lock or no knot fast snaps pictured earlier would probably work. Where do you live? If close, I could give you a couple duo locks to try out.
  21. Great info. I was going to ask the same thing. Thanks Eric
