I would agree with that. I like it 500 to 600 cfs. But this flushing should be good for the fishing.

I always hold the door open for everyone. Men, Women, Children, spider monkey, whatever. Some people are very uncomfortable with it, that's why I do it. That and my dad would have kicked my butt if I would have acted any different. I think most people are uncomfortable with it because they are uncomfortable with saying thank you. I would have held the door all day for her.

Yeah it may be running a little higher and faster but it should be good by then. For comparison the trip you took on the 17th from Cox to JRO it was right around 700 cfs.

Just keep watching the river gauges. It dropped almost 1,000 cfs @ Galena since yesterday. Still at 3850.

And take a look at 1st place. 5 fish, 16.00 lbs with a 5.68. Subtract the big fish from the total and you still have 10.32 lbs in 4 fish. That's better that 2.5 lbs each.

That's a list of the fish submitted for big bass in one tournament on May 9th (71 boats weighing fish). I don't think it's as bad as what it seems. Stockton can be a tough lake but if you take the time to learn and try something new you will eventually be rewarded.

I used to. But I figured out it's a hell of a lot more fun when you aren't. If your hobby stresses you out then you are doing it wrong.

True. But I know one that was in a hospital off and on for a long time. Kept alive long enough to make a few more trips to the lake. Your opinion is that doctors suck. My opinion is that if you don't go for something and die then you are a dumbass. It's that simple.

I get that. But I will also say that people that have posted pics of regular keepers have been ridiculed as well. I don't keep a lot of fish. I'm not some die-hard C&R guy I just don't like to clean fish. I would have let that one go. I also don't like fish mounts. Not sure how a replica will out last an actual mount but I don't care for them either. I have a actual mount in my office from 1977 that still looks pretty darn good. If the clear hadn't yellowed over the years it would look good as new. But I think a nice picture would look a lot better.

I think the one's that tanvat is complaining about are all the geniuses just running up and down the river. Not a fishing rod in the boat. They think its a good time to see how close they can get or spray you with their prop. It's why I will not return to the Current River. I don't mind a guy that is out fishing running by me. He can go full blast. at a crawl or anywhere in between. I know that I probably won't see him again until late in the day when he runs back. But those others you will see 10 or 15 times in an afternoon. Just back and forth all day long. There is no sense in that.
