It's the world we live in and I hate it. You can lose a billion dollar business or have your life ruined for the beliefs you have even though you have accepted the things you are against. I'm against no one. Be what you want, who you want, however you want. As long is it's not being shoved down my throat I don't care. Hell I probably won't even notice. It's supposed to be a free country right?

Sounds good in theory but most of these shelters are running off of volunteers that might not have any idea what to look for. I know one locally that puts down any aggressive dogs they run across. Plus how are you going to determine if the attack was unprovoked or if it was another wiffle ball bat incident? Or if it was even the shelter dog that did it? Most of these places are strapped for cash and don't need people suing them every fifteen minutes. That will only cause them to go away.

A long time ago you were allowed to put a big boat on that lake and only use the trolling motor. But of course that wasn't good enough for some and we lost that option.

Anything more than idle. Look it's just not a place for anything bigger than what the limit is set at. Lots of inexperienced canoers and people following the rules trying to enjoy the lake. It's not like there aren't a lot of choices of other lakes in the area. Most of this lake is very narrow. It's not like a regular lake where a guy might be running on the other side of the lake from you. I know how you feel about "rules", but you are wrong here.

It's a lake that is usually covered in small boats and canoes. Way to small to be running a boat that size on it.

My BIL has one named Duece. He's the most well behaved dog of any breed that I have ever seen. He's a big baby really. They do get a bad wrap but that's mostly caused by the intelligence level of their owners. They think they need a badass dog and teach it to act like it. But Mitch is right, when they attack it's vicious. My MIL had a dauchsund attacked by a pair of Akitas. They dug a spot under her privacy fence and got a hold of him and drug him under the fence. By the time I got there he was playing dead and the Akitas were laying close. I could see him breathing. The owners weren't home so I had to go in there and get him. Those dogs were not very happy to see me but after I layed one of them out with a shovel things went smoothly. Freaking owners wanted me to pay for their vet bill! Yeah good luck with that.

Yeah grill it with it on. It gets a little crisp but just needs to be on the grill, medium heat, for about 5 minutes. It's freaking delicious!!

I'm not saying they are a bad employer, I have a buddy that works there. But they aren't what they used to be and that's really sad because they could be both a tourist trap and a really good tackle shop. Hell they don't even have a decent website anymore.

The Cedar Ridge area has been that way for many years. They won't even allow you to unload a boat at the campground when the other ramp is closed. Get pretty upset about it actually.

If it's something that you are really into then a camera with the ability to focus manually solves a lot of problems.
