  1. I can’t argue with any of this. Spot on.
  2. Girls are awesome but they aren’t cheap.
  3. I may not understand it all but I could have that filled in a couple of hours. Probably quicker if I just ordered online. I’d probably struggle with the first one more than the rest.

    What's Cooking?

Or you can just send me an invite and I’ll take pictures. Sounds delicious.
  5. I love them when out camping. But I don't usually have a problem sleeping with them doing their thing.
  6. I guess I don't get the "I'm to good for that" mentality when it comes to a lure. It's not my goto either but it still has a purpose like all the other tackle I carry. And I have had days where I tried those other lures but the ned prevailed. Some days it's a topwater, or floating worm, or spinnerbait, or a Bandit 300. I just like finding a pattern that gets some bites. It was what I enjoyed most about bass fishing in the lakes and it the same today. I'm not constantly searching for the largest fish in the stream though either. Each and every one is a trophy to me at this point. I do get hung up sometimes on a floating worm. I feel like I can coax a big out with that. I get a lot of follows from nice fish but most of them just break my heart. Geez I need to go fishing.
  7. I'm not. I honestly don't care what anyone believes. But I don't like those that put themselves above others that don't believe the same, while totally contradicting themselves with what is god like.
  8. I thought it was hellgrammites? Make up your mind Plastic Man! Nice fish. Bandit 300?
  9. Anyone that thanks God for a sporting win is delirious in my book. Praise whatever god or mystical being you want, but I don't think any of them have anything to do with a person winning a tournament, scoring a touchdown, or winning an award. If anything, it's just wrong. If a god can put a fish on your line, why can't it stop a person from shooting up a school. In either case it can't, so it's just annoying and a bit abusive to your religion. And I'm sorry to inform all of you that the ned rig works. Always has and probably always will.
  10. I totally understand what you are saying and that’s how I roll 99.999% of the time. But the only time I have ever been actually tired of catching smallmouth was with Jeff Trigg at Ozarks Sweetwater. We had a couple of miles to go and he was telling me the spots to hit and at that point I was done. It hurt too much to cast anymore and I had seen plenty of fish for the day. Not only was it a great day for numbers, I also learned a lot more in that one day than what I had “figured out” in 15 years. I can’t vouch for the other recommendations but Wrench could show you a thing or two as well.
  11. I rarely tie anything on a hook smaller than a #2 and it’s even rarererer that I target a trout. But yeah, a few patterns is all I ever toss at them before getting bored.
  12. Many, many years ago we made some by using a two part epoxy and tungsten powder. It actually worked really well. There were several formulas to make different weights with the same size head. We measured everything down to a tenth of a gram. But we had plenty of time to play back then.
  13. He was bragging that it weighed 50.
  14. It’s just part of the experience I think. I used to have a coffee can full of bead chain. It was full to the top. Guess how many flies I tie that use bead chain? Yep, exactly zero.
  15. That will work too.
  16. Bring the boat and I’ll show you the lake.
  17. Somebody needs to take this one to Pomme de Terre right about now. I would but I’m a loser. Don’t be like me.
  18. I saw that on FB and wondered if it was one of yours.
  19. Lives around Chief’s house and hangs out with the donkey and pony. It will let you pet it but it’s still a wild animal. As it was getting dark it wondered off into the woods for the night.
  20. No. We went to the Cave Bar & Grill in Lanagan. None of us will ever go back. Let us know how undercliff is.
  21. Exactly. But I have hoarded up some bullsheet over the years!
  22. That’s Britt’s dog. He was really cool.
  23. He was hanging out at the cave restaurant we went to.
  24. Went on a little road expedition with @Chief Grey Bear and @Wheatenheimer on Saturday to look at some beautiful places that Chief keeps begging me to come float. We didn't fish, just rode around and made plans for next year.
  25. The thing that pisses me off is you work to get around them safely and then come to a stoplight that they refuse to stop at so you have to try and safely pass them again. If you want to ride on the road you have to abide by all the rules of driving on the road.
