  3. If the rods and reels happened to be found at one of the aunts creek ramps, they may belong to one of the anglers that fish the traveling Thursday night tournament (was Wednesday nights but they changed it this year). Good bunch of guys that fish this and Brandon Morton, the tournament director, might know if anyone lost anything. Below is a link to thier site: https://m.facebook.com/wednesdaynighttoutnament/
  4. They're not lowriders...but I have two falcon original FC-5-17 with full cork handles I'd be willing to sell for $75 each. In very good condition if you or anyone is interested. SOLD
  5. Conman, I fish the Winter Bass Brawl and it's a decent tournament. It's kind of fallen off this year and is not as well organized as it was in the past, due to it changing hands, but still a decent tourney to fish if you want to get out and do some winter tourney fishing. You can usually expect 25-30 boats and some good competition, just plan on 1-1.5 hrs for weigh in. LipRipper
  6. Decided to hit Stockton Saturday and invited my old man to come along for some father son bonding time. Arrived at Mutton at 7:00 am with a 10 mph wind and the cloudy sky spittin on us. Hit our first bank and 5 minutes later connected with a nice 3lb largemouth on a wart worked the bank on down catching 6 fish with 3 keeps. Hit the next spot and started rippin lips on a variety of baits. Had 20 LM by 9am with 8 keepers biggest going 4lbs. Finally at nine the rain stopped and went to our next area catching another 8-9 on a wart and hula grub with 2 keepers out of that bunch. After that hit a couple more banks with great results. Caught numerous 2-4 lbers and at 3:30 my dad and figured we'd easily caught 50 bass, so we figured we'd start keeping an official tally. From 3:30 to 6:45 we boated 30 LM with the final tally ending up somewhere near 70-80 fish (all bass) with by our modest estimates 30 of them being Keepers (nothing over 4lbs). It was one of those days I won't ever forget as long as I live. Simply outrageous and a great day to spend on the water with ole' dad! Best 5 would've been in the 17-18lb range. None of the fish came off the main lake and did not throw a stickbait all day.
  7. I believe it's three years old. I bought it from a buddy a while back and it's been a great boat. I used to have a dagger crossover and really like the OT rush for it's smaller size, light weight, and stability. Although, the crossover did have dry storage, it was almost impossible to reach it while in the boat. The skirt is a small, lomo neodeck, which I have never used, but is in good condition.
  8. I have an Old Town Rush Guide Series Kayak for sale. $275 Includes Carlisle paddles and Spray Skirt. It's 9.5 ft. long and weighs 39 lbs. Perfect for fishing streams and ponds or paddling area rivers. It's a great kayak and i hate to get rid of it, but i am buying a bass boat and have a canoe also. I can be contacted by email at chippers1981@hotmail.com or call 417-766-9892 Thanks for looking!
  9. Another excellent post! Thank you Mr. Babler for taking time out of your day to share your knowledge with the rest of us. LipRipper
  10. Does anyone know if last weeks heavy rains have muddied up the water in the Aunt's Creek area? Thinking of doing a little night fishing up that way and any info would be greatly appreciated. By the way, thank you to everyone that contributes to this site. I plan on doing more so in the future. LipRipper

    Crappie

Not sure if it contains MSG's, but Zataran's is great stuff, especially sprinkled with a little cayenne pepper!
