The power boat nationals will be racing at the Branson Landing August 17 and 18. Might want to stay away from there.

Can someone tell what the set up is to fish the power worm? I've never use slip bobbers before. What do I need? I would like my kids to be successful on something other than powerbait. Thanks

I fish just down from there near the condos in Forsyth. I do good with power bait and on jigs. I would also try around the docks at long beach for bass and crappie.

Condo for sale on lower end of Taneycomo. Boat slip with lift included. Fishing is great on the lower end of taneycomo. Trout, crappie and bass can all be found on the lower end of the lake. Went to spring river for the weekend with some friends. We caught whites on Friday and Saturday. Did not go out sunday. Monday the fishing was shut down. Water temp on Friday and Saturday was 53 an 46 on Monday. The fish we caught were on chartreuse swimming minnows and rc stick baits. Fished mainly from boat houses up to 10c bridge. If you normally put in at 10c you better bring your waders, ramp is full of gravel out to the bridge peer.

We were catching them on any timber in the coves. I took my son out again thursday evening for his birthday and we caught around 30. There not big but fun to catch. Any color jig works you just have to be quick to hook them, they attack it when it hits the water. It should be good until they start running alot of water and the temp drops.

Fished the lower end for a little while this weekend and could not keep the crappie off the hook! All of them were in the 7-9 inch range. The kids had a great time catching them. We were using jigs of any color. Just drop them down and pull in the fish.

I watched the c dock float past my moms condo at 8am this morning. She is about a mile from powersite dam. Havent heard if it went over or not.

Took the kids out sunday. Fished for about an hour and half. Had to head back in before we all melted! Caught 5 on power bait by the apartments in forsyth. Wish we could have stayed out longer, the fish were biting good.

I fished friday and saturday evenings from 6- 10pm. Fishing from the boat I started at cooper creek and float my way down to hwy 65. Caught numerous fish on a gray jig each night before dark. All of them were small and when you found one you found a hundred. I had to see them hit to get a hook up, but it is fun catching them. After dark I switched to a 6 inch rebel looking for some bigger fish. Not much luck. I got three in the 14 -16 inch range. If you go out at night be sure to know the area were you are at, because when the fog gets thick it is a slow ride back. It does make for a nice cool down after a long hot day.

I was using a white jig on 1/16 oz head. The four I caught hit real soft, and all were 9 inches.

Fished long creek yesterday evening with my son trying to find crappie. Caught four crappie and a few bass in the 10 - 15 inch range.

we were above the 10c bridge. A freind of mine is till there and said they have pretty much quit bitting. 4 on monday and 2 today.

Fished the spring river all this weekend. Limited out on friday and saturday. Sunday was a lot slower, managed to catch around 15.
