Hell it was $2.93 in Cuba Mo last week and Friday it went up to $3.19. It will probably come down some after Monday. Put gas in the boat and the burb for this weekend I filled the burb first and stopped the pump on the boat when it hit $200. I'll be doing lots of trolling this weekend. I'm selling my new SunTracker I just bought now that I found out I'm a POS low life for owning one. Very informative forum.

I bought a Fishin Barge 21 last June at BPS in Springfield. I built my own package and am very satisfied with my choices and the quality of the boat, BUT make sure everything you order is there when you take delivery. When I picked mine up the seats were there but no pedistals. They said I would have them "next week" well 5 weeks later I finally got them, and the cover that was back ordered and would be in in two weeks I got 2 months later. Their customer service in my opinion is non existant. I got the feeling that once they had my money their job was done. Boat quality and performance are no problem. I wish I had bought from a smaller dealer. I think the customer gets lost with BPS.

This is a subject I know a little about since I use to run the Meramec and have fixed a lot of holes. Unfortunatly epoxy is only a temporary fix. It will get you back to the trailer but with aluminum not being porous metal it doesn't hold long. In your case not knowing the history I would say it's probably a "stress" crack and not an impact crack, and aluminum will just keep going like a windshield with the twisting and turning of the boat on wakes and such. A good welder should be able to do this from the outside if he can get to it without removeing the interior as this would be a tig welder which they can control the heat very well,but there again all my problems were below the water line so maybe epoxy will work for you.

I see on the internet thay are calling for thunderstorms there this weekend but warm. What are the local stations saying there? I gotta get out.

Jeff, I was going to switch to straight hooks this year because of killing so many with treble hooks. These circle hooks. Is this what they are called on the package. I'm thinking maybe I want to try this. Thanks Kerry

A good friend of mine since grade school brushed against a hot wire while doing repairs from the ice storm. He has lost one leg and still in a induced coma. He worked for Crawford electric and he needs our prayers along with all the rest of these workers as they get our electric back on.

What size line and sure would one use with the Rapelas?

I will have for sale in the next few weeks or sooner a 25 Horse Big Foot Mercury 4 stroke with power trim electric start. This motor only has about one hour on it. I bought it new as a package from Bass Pro on a pontoon and it's just not enough motor for a 21 footer. I bought it in June and didn't have it out until Thanksgiving. I am replaceing with a 90.This is a remote control motor and I am keeping those for the new motor. I don't know if you can add tiller control on it. My son is coming home from Iraq end of this month and when I ask him what he wanted for Christmas he said a week end on Taney. Well this has kind of esaclated. I need a place to stay Memorial weekend on Taney with boat slips. There will be ten people. My first choice was Lilleys but after looking this morning I see their booked. Had seven inches of sleet on the deck this morning in Cuba Missouri. No idea how much snow. It blowed around so much I got drifts 4 foot deep. Had to shovel 2 feet out of the dog pen this morning so the dogs could get out of their dog door. Hey it will be better in May I predict.

One is a 4X4 one is a 4X2 350cc. Both are in very nice condition. I took these on trade for my Harley and I have no use for them. Several years back I fished a small pond at Tom Sawk mountain by the conservation cabin (thats how I got to fish there because I new the agent)these bass were the funniest things you ever saw. They had 2 pound heads and half pound bodies. He said it was because the lake was over populated becuase no one was allowed to fish there. It was lots of fun it didn't matter what you thew you would get a fish every cast.
