I love the stick bait, my old lady hates it ,even though she landed the first one. It started out cloudy, missed a few and i told her i wish the sun would come out. About that time it did. And boy did they turn on. O my Gosh. I did say on my last post i was going to baxter.Not! She let me go to Cape fear as she calls it lol.Ok enough blah. Caught over 30 LM and Ks with 5 keepers that i weighed 16#.Man what a day 4 me and the wifey,She just said as i type 4 me All on the stick. Snakem Out

I went down the lake

Had a good bite on the stick this day.Caught 15 with 3 good ceepers lost a 5#or 6#ouch.then had a pro. over run and lost my only color rogue,blue back sliver side with orange belly.they ate it up.Left at 11am. Snakem Out.

Your best bet up wront would be a lowrance. Ive tried humminbird,got one on the dash with gps,still won't show drop shotting... From my knowledge which not worth a lot lol U can't beat the LOWRANCE up front.. GOOD LUCK. Snakem Out.

Well, got home from Kansas City 4 turkey day. Couldn't wait to get out on the water as i have been working up there 4 a month and a half. We went out today to cape fair. Now so i'am told it is called cape FEAR LOL. In the past i have had good luck, this time of the year. She told me won't go there again. lol I skunked her, would love 4 her to tag along any time in the same places,because all the other places she can tear me up. So what 2 do. Naw we had fun,as i'm typing she said Wrong LOL. Anyway I caught Haha 6 and 1 being a keeper on spinner baits.I think she might be right about the cape fear.All in all it was very nice to just get out on the WATER. Snakem Out Happy T DAy

For a whole year in this one spot off of a certain dock every fall, I have used the Eakins jig and hooked up to me the same fish with the same results breaking my line. Well Sunday me and the honey was out with the jig getting numerous bites. We pulled up to this dock and low and behold my rod bent over like the devil was on the end and as I turned and hollered get the net I've got the lake record bass on the end of my rod. My drag started peeling off so immediately this time I started backing my drag off as not to have him break off again. Still thinking this is a big bass LOL finally I realized this is a big cat. Short story I have a 12 pound flat head on my jig. My honey netted it with a fine job I may say. It was wonderful eating. Then we proceeded on. We caught numerous bass on the Eakins jig. She skunked me with a 4 pound sm and a nice Kentucky keeper. I lost a couple of nice Kentuckies. All in all from the time we started at Aunts creek to Baxter they bit all day till we left. She did not want leave as they were still biting. I had to go home and watch Nascar and eat catfish. The sm and Kentucky are still swimming. What a wonderful day as I have been gone two months working. Snakem out

I Liked the idea of filling there boat full of holes Maybe then hold them at gun point,call the LAW and let them handle it ? WE do pay TAXES BUT dont take a life over chump change even though that changh is getting expnsive. If you do, plan on going to jail for a long time,no more fishing no more freedom no more fun. Gary when u drop shot hope u r useing a #2 bate hook. 4 me this works very well. I know this is a small hook, but it flat works. When U feel the peck on your line dont set the hook, just start reeling,and don't stop. Hope this will work 4 U. Snakem Out
