  1. I've got a VolleyBall tournament to go to in OK City or I would be down there for this. Let us know how it went.
  2. My office is just down the road from that Pond. This will give me someplace to spend my lunch hours in the spring. Thanks for the post.
  3. Sounds like a Norfork Slam to me.
  4. I am going to try to attend the meeting. I've got a son in Hockey and a daughter in Volleyball right now, so I've got to check the game schedules and practice schedules to see if there are any conflicts. I will be attending a meeting as soon as I can fit it in. However, I did register on the Facebook page a couple of weeks ago.
  5. You guys are gracious with your info. I love this forum! I may have to take a 3 or 4 day weekend trip just to come up and explore these tributary creeks. Thanks Guys!
  6. Sweet pig Rainbow, Leonard! I'm Jelly, Bro!
  7. Well, it's nice to see that there are fish in that pond. I fished it several years ago and caught nothing. Thanks for the post and welcome to the board.
  8. Is it wade able water there? And would I need to worry about trespassing if I waded Bull Creek? Could I expect some solitude or is this a creek that sees a lot of pressure?
  9. All the way up to State Hwy F and beyond?
  10. DD, Are you talking about where Bull Creek runs into TaneyComo? How far up Bull Creek do the trout run?
  11. Here is a late report from Thursday. I got on the water about 1:30pm. There were more people than I have ever seen down there. It took me 3 hours to catch 5 fish. I ran into ASAP as he was leaving. (Nice to finally meet you Corky) During the hour before the blew the horn, and after most of the people had cleared out, I managed to catch 10 more fish. Corky said that he lost count after 28 fish. Sorry, no pics. Best fish was about 14 inches. Oh, I forgot to mention, the first non counting fish that I caught was a Perch.
  12. Well, I'm gonna start at the island. Maybe I'll see you.
  13. Nicely done Corky! I'm heading down tomorrow. I hope I have as good a day as you did.
  14. This is the link that you are looking for.Generation Schedule It will only give you one day in advance except for Friday and then it will give you Sat,Sun and Mon. You need to check it after 5pm for the following day's schedule.
  15. I almost decided to go today. Instead, I did a few honey do's around the house and finished up some flies for a fly swap. I'd like to see no generation earlier in the day or if the turn it of around noon, I'd like to see it stay off until 6pm or 7pm. Then I'd make the trip to go fish. I'm hoping that I see that schedule in the next day or so.
  16. I call it the Web of Deceit.
  17. I've been considering the same thing. However, I have the Kindle application on my Motorola Droid X phone and it works well enough for reading. I don't like web surfing on the phone. Not enough screen real estate. I've played with the Kindle Fire. I couldn't see how it was much better than my phone. I think I will look into the Apple IPad.
  18. This morning you were looking at last weeks schedule for Wednesday. They will post the schedule for Wednesday on Tuesday around 5pm. It will list the date at the top of the schedule. On Friday, around 5pm, they will post the schedule for Sat, Sun and Mon.
  19. I actually tie almost all of my midges and nymphs on a scud hook of some type. I like the look of it and the fish seem to like it also.
  20. #14 Hare & Copper, #16 Zebra Midge (Black, Copper Bead, Copper wire rib)
  21. Brian, I am loving these videos. Keep up the good work!!
  22. Al, Robert Jordan had the habit of going into fine detail describing the surroundings of his WOT world. If found that if I skimmed over that and kept to the storyline that it made for good reading and the telling of a good tale. I'll have to checkout Guy's work.
  23. I've got some of it, but I haven't used it to tie the Hares Ear. I did use it as midge body with a gold bead which worked pretty good.
  24. I've noticed that you have similar tastes. If you haven't read Dalglish's stuff, you should check it out. I've got an Android phone with the Kindle app on it. I was able to pick up some of Dalglish's books for 99 cents. All of the Martin books that I read were on the Android via the Kindle app, also.
