  1. My parents have two pureblood English Mastiff males. They are pretty young dogs, year or so, pretty well behaved. They both will be very large. They are interested in finding a good home for them. If interested give me a call 417-345-1258. Brad
  2. Results!!! Crappie Slayers Tournament Series Lake Pomme De Terre May 22nd, 2010 Pittsburg State Park 7 Fish 1. Bacon/Bacon 4.99 2. Hall./Reth 3.70 3. Stokes/Shockley 1.51 Big Crappie 1. Bacon/Bacon 1.10 Report: We had a very small turnout, I have been contacted by several saying the high water kept them away. The water was 13 plus feet high, however the color was great. Visibility was 5-6 feet in the dam area. The fishing was awesome however the keepers were hard to come by. We caught 40 plus fish with only a handful of keepers. Couldn't keep the dinkers off our jigs! Fished 30 fow in brush piles. Used slab slayer style jigs in chart. Hope to see some more turn out in June. Brad

  6. Too Funny!
  7. Ruark is very easy, however it has been pretty busy the last three days. If you want to catch a lot of crappie I'd head to Ruark, the bite is hot, hot, hot!! Brad
  8. Here's the story - Bob caught the fish, a touch over 5 lbs, I held it like it was mine. Now just think if I got that excited over Bob's fish you can imagine what happens when I catch one that size!!!!! Brad PS - Hey Bob I'll bring the net on Thursday night!
  9. Awesome!!!
  10. sounds like a great trip to me!!! Brad
  11. Bass - I would head up the pomme river, however any of the small creek arms, points, etc... hold fish. Lures - crankbaits, tubes, spinnerbaits, jigs Colors - crankbaits - anything with a tough of black/chart, purple/chart, black/silver tubes - 3.5 -4" puke, green pumpkin spinnerbaits - white, white/chart, chart jigs - pbj, brown, brown/orange, blue/black Brad
  12. Crappie - From Bolivar landing you can fish any standing timber, lots of it in that area. Sometimes they want the jig vertical and some times on the fall, just have to experiment. Jigs - Slab busters, triple ripples, tubes, grubs Colors - anything with chart, whites and blues Size - 1/16th - 1/8th Hope this helps. Brad
  13. Grew up fishing that area around Truman, still one of my favorites. You've got a cabin in a great place, enjoy it!! Brad PS- Snagging at Talley Bend was wretched. We managed one 3 pound spoonie and nothing else, graph was blank as I've ever seen it. Water temp 44 the same as opening day.
  14. I guess we're practically neighbors! I don't head toward Lead Mine very often, occasionally I will fish the Niangua around the 64 bridge area. Normally head to Pomme, Stockton or Truman. It is very seldom I head to LOZ. However I hope to fish the Niangua out of a jon boat a few times this summer. Brad
  15. I'm headed to Tally Bend on Sat. With the water temp so cold this is a tough one. Probably wait another 10 days for the water to warm???? If they were running water out of the dam I'd go to Warsaw, if not I would head toward Osceola, just my two cents. Good luck. Brad
  16. 1. All Star ASR series Jerk Bait Rod 2. All Star TAS series 6' 6" Medium,Fast action tip 3. St Croix Mojo Jerk Bait Rod I'm sure you will see several different rods suggested. All three of these retail for under $100 and come with a good warranty. Just make a trip to a few tackle stores and put some rods in your hands and see how they feel. Good luck on your quest! Brad
