  1. Hey Brian! I don't know what the rod started out as, it was given to me by an ex-girlfriends Grandpa 15+ years ago. There was some really faint writing on it that I couldn't make out. Thanks for the compliments! Good luck on your project! Keep us posted on the progress!
  2. Great story! Thanks for sharing it with us!
  3. I've met Pat. Yes, he is a maniac! Glad you got out! Sounds like a good time!
  4. When I saw "Produce" review, I thought maybe you spotted Flysmallie backed into a parking spot with a bananna on his dash again!
  5. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! The scene at the carwash is hilarious!!!
  6. I thought you said that Eric's opinions didn't matter to you. Apparently they do some, seeing how you have allowed his opinions to upset you. I believe that the majority of the people here could care less what you do with your funds and whether you feel the need to buy or not buy a trout stamp, as long as you are within the law, that is your business. In my opinion, it is 7 bucks well spent. I don't balk one bit every year forking over the cash. It is a very small price to pay for the privilege it allows, whether you utilize it or not. There have been many years that I did not utilize the legal end of possessing a trout stamp, but I still had it just in case. My two pennies to all of us.........grow some thicker skin, bitch less and fish more!
  7. Awesome Pic's! Glad you guys had a fantastic day on that Jewel of a river! Thanks for sharing!
  8. Great report Buzz! Way to go, Brother! Not too shabby for such a short amount of time!
  9. Well, now that wouldn't be Eric then would it? Are you asking Eric to deviate from his true form? That would be like asking Al to start painting pictures of kittens with pretty pink bow's on their heads.
  10. I don't mind at all. I love your version of Cat Stevens. Very nicely done, especially playing your guitar upside down and backwards! Thanks for sharing! And thanks to all of you for the kind words! I hope everyone has a great Father's Day!
  11. Whippersnapper!
  12. This is a cover of Peter Gabriel's song titled Father Son. I shot this last night on my patio. Sorry the audio is not that great (it's probably better that way!) I sure am thankful for my old man, he taught me to fish and enjoy the wonderful Ozark outdoors among many other things. It kinda took me till adulthood to realize what cool guy he is. Hope all of ya'll have a great Father's Day and I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for checking it out!
  13. Those were the days, when we actually had a piece of artwork to lick and stick on the back of our license! I miss it too, Brother!
  14. That is a very angry lake!
  15. Have an empty memory card in you camera so you can take lots of pic's to share with us! That is my tip. What a beautiful stretch of an incredible river! You are going to have a blast!
  16. Man, sounds like you guys had a blast! Those are some pretty fish! Thanks for sharing, KC!

  20. According to John Prine it's on the Green River in Western Kentucky! Buzz, sounds like you had a great outing with the kids! That's awesome! Thanks for sharing with us! Can't wait to fish with you fella's again!
  21. Right on! There's a good bunch of like minded folks here that feel the same way about having a furkid follow us around. Glad you have a new member of the family! Share some pic's when ya get a chance, we'd love to see 'em!
  22. Yep, this just proves that I will fish with absolutely anyone! Actually had a great time with Eric on Friday. Despite his reputation, he didn't whine or even try to pick a fight with me once!
  23. I did indeed have a great time yesterday! It sure was nice to see Chief, Buzz and KC again and meet the rest of ya'll for the first time. I always enjoy meeting like minded folks and getting the chance to put a face with the names. Here's some of the pics I came back with. Nice fish, Dillon! That youngster outfished all of us! Chief's catch of the day! and the release! Good times, good food and good folks = Great Day! We even had a surprise visit from a very tardy Skrawny Ronnie!
  24. Still planning on it and still working on dragging Ronnie along!
  25. I have a 110 pound Golden Retriever that on most days I would gladly "re-home" him, but I'm pretty sure that my girlfriend would "re-home" me if I carried this out. Great Pyrenees are great dogs, so are Newfies (Newfoundlands) and Bernese Mountain Dogs. All just big bundles of love! Good luck finding your new family member.
