Bullshoals - beaver or swan. Swimming minnows or sliders. James river - blunk hole - south of galena. Purple swimming minnows or rostertails. Stockton- cc bank access near greenfield or Taylor bridge on little sac side. -

I have been thinking about the switch but I haven't worn out my curados yet. I hate the new curado and I'm looking to switch. Just when you build up $3,500 in gear it becomes time to switch.

The dam area and indian point area have some nice smallies. Use a grub or jig and you will do fine. I Personally would rather river fish for them in the kings river.

Water temp is 44-45. Put in today around 10. Threw megabass and wigglewart for a big goose egg. I had the slowest weekend in years. It's been a tough pull this winter. I'm not finding my jerkbait bite and its driving me crazy.

It was in the lower forties on sat. I put in at Beaver and ran towards the cuts at point 39. Not a bite. I went up beaver and the water was about 38. Hard day. Threw my plus ones as slow as a snail. I hate bull shoals. She is like a bad relationship ... but I keep going back. I also tried by swan with the same results. I figured I could catch something with the water running. Big zero!

Put in on sat around 11. Threw a pins minnow for two hours. Landed two fish and missed 10 or so. Hard day.

I just wiped my cork rod handles with a magic eraser. It took ten mins to do 6 rods. They look brand new. Try it out boys. They feel a lot better.

For the 30th time, I will profess my love for my cara. Love that rod!

FYI I only use the powerballs. Regular powerbait is worthless compared to them.

I use two balls of each color (orange and yellow or pink and white) on a 18 inch 4lb floro leader tied to 8lb test. I put two large split shot above the leader. I use a number 6 hook(gold). I never hook the balls inline.

Short creek comes in on the left above copper creek access on the left? Any need for 2 lb floro or will 4 lb work? I'm not a big bait fisherman for trout but when I do it I generally limit the whole boat. I hate to take anyone out in the low 30s without any fish.
