I will attempt to keep a fly rod in my tracker boat when fishing from B town down to Powersite. I would like to take it out and fly fish if the conditions are right and my wife is not in the boat for me to hook. Can someone please help me with some basics for this application? I will go get new fly line, leader and tippet at either Backcountry or Pro Bass. Obviously I am not that serious of a fly fisherman so I don't want to invest much money. Not even sure what weigth rod I have. Will try to look at home tonight. I guess I need to know what flies to keep in my box. I have never really gotten into fly fishing b/c I don't really have the time to devote to it. I think this might be a good way to ease into it. Who knows I might even be tempted to prefer it my spinning outfit.

For the Aphids a couple of years ago I bought lady bugs that were shipped to me by mail. The will eat every aphid anywhere near your garden. The problem is the sevin on other stuff will kill them. I still have lady bugs galore even when I bought a couple hundred a few years ago. Down there in those hills there are just lots of every kind of critter.

Pink power eggs have always worked for me, but Lamar at Scotty's says bubble gum is getting the most action around B town. A month ago I would have told you white and orange. Trout will eat lots of different bait though and nite crawlers will catch lots of fish.

Sorry I am jumping in late on this. I wonder if you guys are really Chiefs fans. Because a real Chiefs fan already knows they suck and don't expect anything out of them ever. I'm surprised that drew03 has that much passion left in him about the Chiefs. I will agree with him that nothing good ever happens with King Carl around.
