How's the body? Does it need anything like exterior repairs or tires? Has it ever had any accidents? What color? Any possibility of posting pictures? Regular cab, I assume?

Well my situation has changed a bit, but not really... I sold the John boat, but bought a pretty nice canoe to replace it with... Now the guy that owns the Johnboat is bringing it along to the annual float.. He's upset that I won't be up front catching the fish... So I plan to bring my canoe and float it solo, and put either TC or KC (if his brother in law bails) in the front of the John boat... So, if KC's BIL does come along, I will have an extra seat in the canoe, it looks like... Clear as mud?

I think I caught this fish today... Right next to Barclay? Either way, it was a windy day to be on the river today, I'll tell ya for sure.. Dontcha know...

It looked on the guage like it was coming down.. Good deal, too.. Just in time for the wifey and I to inaugurate the canoe on Wednesday! Hey, Oneshot: have you ever tried using mini marshmallows? Always works for me and costs a whole lot less than powerbait... Also used to use balled up bread dough but it tends to come off the hook... I'll have the crawdads rigged up, but here's my report (in advance): Went floating and fishing, caught fish.. Released them relatively unharmed.. But totally traumatized.. Took pics, but I'm afraid to post them.

I took one of those water cannons from a kid who sprayed me point blank in the face with it while I was standing in my boat fishing... Ever since it has been my go to weapon/self defense tactic.. It's sprays water over 30 ft! Yanked it right outta his hands... Shoulda seen the look on that kids face... lol he screamed to his mamma "Hey that asshole stole my watergun!!" to which his mamma swiftly replied "be glad he didn't crack ya over da head wit it, stupid!" and they floated on downstream... lol

Actually I put him on the stringer with my other 17 trout (and those 6 little smallmouth I caught)... Danged things are so small it was barely a meal! :wink: (don't mind me, I'm just being ornery like usual, I'll go back to the bait chucking section.) Tehe

Good thread! There are a few hometown eateries in Lebanon that are definitely worth stopping in at too... Cornerstone Subs and Pizza is a locally owned shop that has homemade bread for their sandwiches, Stromboli from scratch and a fantastic pizza! Swiss Inn has a legendary Big Swiss steak (breaded slab of steak on a long bun with special (mildly) spicy sauce... Ollies BBQ is a fantastic sit down eatery that is on 64 hwy toward Bennett... The Sand Spring Resorts restaurant has a HUGE salad bar with several types of homemade breads and great soup selection... I'm sure I'm missing a few, but I am glad you started this thread! (please note: I do not have any stake in any of these businesses)

I like the old Elias Wonder "flick-o-da-wrist" quick release... Though I can never do it when I want to... (course that's only when I'm using the fly rod.. It's practically an impossible task wit double trebles)
