    Good luck! Us "little guys" can't compete! Not with price or selection, and customer service only means something to about 1% of the population anymore.. And yes, I'm pointing out that its a trend that is multi-faceted and nationwide. (as I put on my proverbial Wal-mart hat)

    Not to be contentious, but I've been checked by officers in and on the stream (in the park and on the river) several times in the past 5 years. Most were plainclothed, if it makes any difference.

    I'm out on this one, fellas.. It's not that I don't enjoy y'alls company, it's just that every time I show up to one of these things someone breaks a tooth, gets flopped outta the boat or gets hassled by the federales... I'm beginning to think, no, scratch that.. I'm convinced that I'm bad luck. Even if I wasn't bad luck, I'm still loud and opinionated and obnoxious and prone to incite violence in, well, most folk. Have fun though, you're welcome..

    I've fished well over 75 years if you add in my previous lives... I was born in 80 and was manning a fishing pole by myself on the banks of an Ozarks river since I was 4 years old, and I've fished every chance I've gotten since the bug really bit me back when I as about 12... What's this about you hangin' it up, Chambug? Say it ain't so...?

    There are around 3 or 4 decent sized holes per mile from Bennett to Barclay.. I'd guess there are anywhere from 10 to 100 trout per hole (plus smallies, greenies and gogglies)... Good luck!
