I really wanted it to work but not having a screen to work with is a real issue. On the hand control that's the worst. The service has been outstanding.

I have one and I'm not sold on it if your on the deck it's fine. To operate but if u can't see the head ur in trouble I've been waiting for a year to hook it up to the Lawrance unit to follow contour lines. There is a good delay on the anchor lock but it does hold good. The other think it seems to not hold the auto direction that well. Could be the operator. The plastic seems a little lite to hold up over a long period. Just my 2 cents.

Let's face it anew world for sure. Top of the rock very neat place cost a ton. Service and what's on your plate not so much. Sure I buy a ton from bass pro why because it's handy I'm old school like to see what I'm getting selection well it's tackle wear house. I was at the dealer meeting disregard the price I feel they have the fishing market covered my fear is service and u can be assured that the quality of one will go up the other down. The pricing will also. To make it a non issue. It will be a Chev or a gmc comparison I'm afraid. Motors what a mess that will be. Merc vs g2 the rest or out. The incentive will be the who can make the best deal for the manufactor. Rangers or mostly made to order not trackers / nitro so volumn look for lots of merc. Me after running the g2 and getting into the merc. I felt the g2 was better one issue was the oil fill being under the top cover any spillage could be a mess. They would both get u down the lake but unless they really get the price down you will see lots of merc. But now or wait. Always a big question me I'm going to pull the trigger real soon the price may go down but in today's world most likely something will be sacrificed. Don't believe u can take a $ 70000 dollar boat to a $50000 boat and increase company profits. Just my 2 cents worth. Merry Christmas to everyone.

My problem with the deeper fish is catch one or two and that's it they lock up. It's been like that most of the fall for me anyway.

Crank bait on windy banks produced some good results.

Found some today in the dam area this afternoon in timber in 10 ft to 15 ft caught 7 bang bang then my fishing buddies had to hit the road to St. Louis. 2 keepers end up a beautiful day.

Just a follow up went to cape fair crank and spinner baits most of the day. End up with 5 spots all short nothing exciting but nice day to be with old friends and a very very cold beer.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thinking about going to the kings or big m area. Even kicked around going to bull and k dock just looking for some shallower fish.

Have 3 friends in town fished the dam area yesterday tough and deep. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Went to Baxter area today. About the same results 10 with 1 keeper. Mix of sm and spots sure there others doing better saw three boats total.

Went in at cricket at 2 or so pick up a blade played in the wind caught about 10 with one fat k at almost 17 inches. Left at 430. Off color never saw another boat.
