  1. Right...i can’t fix anything I’m gonna go look under the hood...see if I see anything that looks weird
  2. I wish you didn’t live so flipping far away...not sure what I’ll do next
  3. Tried the jet for a test run today motor was hard to start and would run for a bit...and then die i noticed the fuel line was cracked by the bulb...so went to Walmart and bought a whole new assembly. Thought about just replacing the bulb and hose...but bit the bullet. I like the new connection to tank deal back to the creek...would run for a bit...and then die...then hard to start...then run a bit...and die not the best description...but seems like a fuel problem...the carb was rebuilt a couple years ago you think it’s the fuel pump? Seems like there’s something wrong with it it was peppier in the new trim hole...the transducer sprayed some...but continued to read while on plane must be karma
  4. Rogers is a close second
  5. The regime fees at Bella vista would be a killer...but I do like a couple of the golf courses kimberling city would be ideal if they had a decent golf course me...I always say I’m gonna retire to Cassville...has a hospital...decent golf course...roaring river...and the lake seems like the perfect place
  6. listening to that screaming meemie all day long... Would sound like you’re at a motorcross race.
  7. Reminds me of a judge smails quote about all al czervic on caddyshack...the man is a menace
  8. It’s awfully loud
  9. I lowered the transducer a little from where it previously was...pretty close to level with the bottom...a little higher...eyeballing the 1/8 inch...will see what it does. Thanks for the help to all who contacted/replied
  10. Thanks for your perspective but I went ahead and mounted to the transom...we’ve got a little mud motor and every pound matters so I pull it off...tm also interferes with the blind. I wouldn’t swear it’s right and the mount doesn’t swivel yet...but by golly it’s on there.
  11. Not sure why it said posterior...how stupid. I said flat a$$ gets it. A little too politically correct
  12. Thanks...will do. It’s a little doggie like it is. Flat posterior gets it with 18 hp evinrude...and. Put it in the middle hole. I thought 25 Johnson jet...would be similar to the 18 with the fall off...but like I said...it’s not as peppy
  13. Just saw your comment about the coax...too many green ones. Will fix it...thanks
  14. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RAM-Aluminum-Marine-Mount-for-Humminbird-Piranha-MAX-Eagle-Cuda-Lowrance-X-4/293416098258?epid=8012075054&hash=item4450f659d2:g:xwcAAOSwhZheF4WU Swivel mount...35 bucks...what do you think?
  15. Ok thanks...it’s going to be cool heres pic of the deck extension you helped me make a couple of years ago
  16. Wait a minute. I just saw you said no need to drill thru transom...what do you mean? how do I attach the bracket? I understand about cables going up and over...thanks
  17. Ok...thanks...I’ll get an in line fuse from oreillys its going to be cool...I still don’t like the trailer tho
  18. It was wired to a clip...do I just put a ring so I can wire to battery terminals?
  19. That was a stupid question...sorry
  20. Ok...thanks. The hull line is the bottom of the transom right?
  21. But I think being inexperienced he would benefit from depth finder when operating the big motor the trolling motor is easy to remove and is off when duck hunting
  22. Pretty easy to switch to jet motor but worry if transducer is on transom...would be a worry in river or when duck hunting with mud motor
  23. This motor is electric start and really fits the boat...the one that will be used most often by son. Mostly in pits or small lakes
  24. On my Alweld... we use it for ducks mostly but I want my 18 year old son to use it for pits and the river so the question is...Where would you put the fishfinder. Think it would be better so the driver could see it? Or would it be better up front? Fishfinder isn’t anything special...just an old eagle but better than nothing. easier to wire if in back...but don’t have to drill thru transom if up front What do you think?
