  4. was it scotty's trout dock that broke loose in 2008 and hit the bridge? good video of the calm before the storm
  5. so do ya think they will open the top gates @ 925?
  6. where she will stop nobody knows....
  7. navionics did a high def scan of taney, but i doubt it includes the upper end. My guess is whomever owns that big boat at the landing paid for a high def scan of the lake. in other maps ive seen navionics doesnt pay much attention to the one-ten foot range.

Im thinking next weekend it will be on like donkey kong....
  9. They used to sell glass minnow traps @ bud's bait in Carthage, MO. Might call and ask them if they still sell them.(417) 358-6119
  10. Bassboat central has a good merc motor forum. FWIW mercury quickleen can clean up an engine really well. i think overall the price of quickleen vs seafoam is enough to just use the quickleen plus the ethanol stabil Id also replace your fuel filter and get a new fuel line and bulb.
  11. academy will save you tons of money... or cost you more depending on how much stuff you like to buy.
  12. Go to any of the big bridges and look for the graffi marking previous floods. BTW you must not have been on table rock two years ago....
  13. thats the exact problem i will have. Im already wanting one of those, seeing it in action would cost me a unit on my glittersled.
  14. Bill would you really want a client like that though....
  15. was browsing tacklewarehouse.com tonight and stumbled upon Brad's Wigglers http://www.bsfishtales.com/index.php I was wondering if the wigglers were spawn of the original pre rapala wiggle warts or are these a copy?
  16. over on BassBoat Central in the Champion Forum there are a few people that can tell you all about Mtn Home AR Champion Boats. If it is a Champion Made in Mountain Home then id check there. here is a link
  17. send me the unit and your transducer, i will fish until i can replicate the event and study this phenomenon. Once i have fully tested the unit ill send it back....... with an explanation.
  18. im in the "little wake as possible" camp. Id rather fish and wave at you then grab hold of somethign solid as you putt on by then wave a finger while im trying to hold on..
  19. youre a brave brave man....
  20. I also think Arkansas requires proof of insurance to operate a motorized boat on their waters.
  21. weekends are no place for fisherman past 9am..... Inconsiderate pleasure boaters pulling a tube 30yds from your boat to massive wakes by mastercrafts plowing water planting the seeds of waterskiers all over the lake. you might have to hunt for calmer water but even if you find it, the glitter from your bassboat attracts those pesky jetskis like catfish to stinkbait.... Ive seen some doozies on taney, some folks with lunds just plowing water up to the dam just seems worse when your drifting
  22. nice fish!
  23. Quick report: caught and missed a few on the top. working gravel pts 10-20ft rapala wht/olive popper caught and missed some with fish dr, green pumpkin shakey rigged.
  24. Put in around 11am and fished to the first storm. Caught some shorts on a crankbait in 7ft-10 ft brushy shallow banks. GOt hit by the storm around 1pm and it was a doozy. got to the ramp and waited until the storm cleared went back. Fished another few hours, top water action was good , then switched over to a watermelon candy centipede, caught a nice one on gravel brushy bank. got wet, face stinging rain on the first storm, but enjoyed the day.
  25. got mine.
