  1. What's the limit and how do they fry up?
  2. Well Pete, a very pretty young lady, and she likes fly fishing with dad. You could not ask for much more than that. Those arkansas browns are still in spawn color, whereas the taney fish have lost their color for the most part.
  3. Sounds like a good time. The weather was great. RR fished good all summer and appears to continue so this winter. Thanks for the report.
  4. Good advice Gavin, I took it out.
  5. Will do. When is your ollie fest ?
  6. Thanks for the report trapshot, sounds like a fun day.
  7. Probably after thanksgiving Chief.
  8. Looking for a report on fishing and fishing conditions. thanks
  9. Sounds as if you all had a good trip. The only goldens that I have ever caught were in highlandville. The blue herons usually have a field day with them, but they are neat to see in the creek. We need to get out, with Corky and Harv, and make a montauk run. Thx for the report guys.
  10. For a sizable profit I would supply a generator to go with.
  11. Would consider trade for freshly frozen trout.
  12. I'll bite, where is z4
  13. here kitty kitty
  14. Its a good thing that lion was shot in arkansas. Ifn he had crossed over into the missouri you tree huggers would have loved and squeezed him to death. He probably would prefer shot.
  15. I vote for shoot. Grew up wandering around these woods in the ozarks, not having to worry about bears, cougars, or elk. Prefer to keep it that way.
  16. maybe some ice jigs

    City Trout

Caught me some city trout yesterday. Right on the southwestern limits of branson city.
  19. I doubt seriously that mdc will do much to cater to rural folk with private property. But that is not the issue. I have not criticized the people who use the program, I have criticized the program. I am against it and always have been, short and simple. With that I am bowing out of this argument. Thanks for the input.
  20. Well I can see that I am clearly outnumbered on this issue, and I would like to thank you all who came to my side of the fence. Some one mentioned that this program is probably paid for by the increase sales of permits. MY question, is a trout stamp required to fish, not keep, but fish for these trout during c and r season? If only a missouri fish permit is required, then most kids would be age exempt and not require that permit. What are the reqirements for out of staters who border and live so close to our urban fisheries? I am sure they take advantage.
  21. You have just pointed out the main issue. "Urban", what gives them special treatment over rural areas that are not close to trout fishing. My tax dollars do not seem to be evenly distributed.
  22. I have criticized the urban brand, you are welcome to criticize the brand you care least for.
