  1. Agreed. Let's see that trophy.
  2. Nice fish. Good report. Thanks
  3. Sounds awesome! When I was a very young kid (4 yrs ) old living in Indiana, I remember my Dad coming back with a cooler of Pike and walleye from Canada. I've wanted to go ever since!
  4. Nice walleye and good report. I'll have to look up that fish burger recipe.... it sounds interesting.
  5. I asked because i was talking to a guy yesterday that said Shadow Rock was flooded. I wondered if he was confusing the 2 parks. Thanks for your reply.
  6. Is Shadow Rock Park flooded?
  7. Fished with my son from 9:30-noon. Trolled A-rigs from the dam to Swan. Ended up with 7 whites and a keeper walleye. The fish were in the middle which was kinda odd. 3 sows, 1 15" male and 3 small males.

    Whites?

Caught about 20 small males at Walnut Springs last Thursday. Didn't catch any sows. Fished again on Wednesday of this week at Walnut Springs and didn't catch any whites.
  9. Fished from the pothole to Barker, trolling a Flickr shad and an Arig last Friday, got 1 bite. Talked to 2 other boats that did just as well. I didn't mark very many fish in that stretch. Last year at this time we were catching sow white bass there. I think we need some steady 50°+ temps to get em stacked up.
  10. Thanks Paco
  11. Has anyone been to Beaver Creek or Swan near the main lake? Wondering how the water looks after the recent rain.
  12. Awesome video. Thanks!
  13. Wow. Y'all did really well.
  14. Fished Beaver Creek near the main lake on Saturday morning from 9:00-noon. Managed 4 keeper crappie. And no whites. Talked to a couple of guys that said they were catching really small males on white jigs.
  15. Thanks for the report.
  16. Just saw this report. We fished from the dam to Barker Saturday morning. We didn't try up in Swan Creek. Threw A-rigs and trolled the mud banks. We got 3 bites and lost one. Other guys that we talked to weren't doing any better. We shoulda went to Beaver.
  17. Thanks for the report.
  18. It took us 6 hrs to float from Greer to Turner Mill. We stopped and fished alot.
  19. It's seeing stuff like this that makes me think my sonar is acting up.
  20. They had Swan Creek Park opened today. You could launch at the Shadow Rock ramp.
  21. Here's what I was seeing below the pothole on Bull Shoals. What do you think this is? It went was like that for about 1/2 mile. I was trolling and deep diving crank bait. I never got a bite. Thanks for the info on this thread I've read the whole thing. I'm trying to learn what my electronics are showing me.
  22. I launched from Beaver last week. The water level at BS is dropping pretty quickly now.
  23. My son has a med action Vendetta casting rod that he really likes. It's light, durable, and casts great. He throws everything from weightless senkos to A-rigs with it. He's had it for a couple seasons and hasn't managed to break it yet.
  24. Thanks for the help. Last year at this same time, we floated Greer to Whitten in about 10 hrs if I remember right. We fished alot but didn't really pick it apart since it was our first time, and we weren't sure how long the whole float would take. We caught most of our fish in the Greer to Turner stretch.
  25. We are floating on 8/12 and I'm trying to figure out the best float for the time that we have available. Last time we floated from Greer to Whitten but really liked the Greer to Turner stretch the best for fishing. Anyone know how long it would take to float from Greer to Turner Mill under the current river conditions, with alot of time devoted to fishing?
