  1. Huh. Thanks for the info. I'll have to give it a try.
  2. Don't guess I know what swai is.
  3. Phil Lilley smoked some salmon at an OAF derby a few years ago. Oh, my, my. I couldn't get enough. It was really good. I'm a born-and-raised inland girl and I don't know that I had ever eaten salmon except at Furr's Cafeteria in Texas. lol
  4. Oh, yes. Fresh greens, please, and lots of them. Used to attend a country church in Hot Springs (AR) where one of the little matriarchs of the church, Miss Z, would bring a giant pot of fresh collard greens to potlucks. When everyone was in the pie line later, I was ladling up another bowl of greens.
  5. That sounds good!
  6. No doubt. Don't blame you, but other than the occasional freshwater fish, I don't have much to compare it to, so it was pretty good to me.
  7. Tilapia

    What's Cooking?

    That sounds awesome.
  9. Beautiful fish. Of course, my favorite is the smallmouth, too. Minnesota slam.
  10. Tilapia.
  11. Store bought.
  12. I know, but I can hardly do it. I have so much fun catching them and they are so beautiful...
  13. I guarantee you the beef you eat is low carb, low fat, low calorie and really low moisture. Yep. Been eating pork, chicken and beef.
  14. Correct on both counts - was tasty and not bass.
  15. Thanks. I generally have a good A1C ... under 6. Just been out of whack the last few months. Getting older, I guess. My dietary changes seem to be working well, though.
  16. Yes. To my mouth.
  17. Blood sugar's been high, so low-carbing it recently before my next diabetes check-up gets me in trouble with the doc. I think the British eat fish for breakfast, so I'm thinking I can, too. hehe Let's fire off one of those OMG!!! threads - guess what species of fish Donna G had for breakfast this morning. And, where should I go to restock? We'll be at TR tomorrow.
  18. As Champ188 can attest, I'm "geographically challenged" on the water. If Aunt's Creek isn't downstream, please be kind in your replies. Whoops, Champ just said it isn't downstream. lol
  19. Or Aunt's Creek.
  20. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are, particularly if you know dtrs5kprs range.
  21. Oh, my, my. I'd pay good money to watch that.
  22. Haven't been on Swepco in years. It was really fun back in the day and not as crowded. Never caught anything big, but numbers were insane. Plus, there's just something about catching a fish in 103 degree water in a roaring discharge (back before they closed that part off) that made me giggle. Handling the fish to unhook it was like petting a warm puppy..
  23. I like 5, but we would need to start a thread on the forum where everyone comes up with a caption for the photo.
