  5. Hello Fellows, Well it's Spring and we all know that the fishing can change from one day to the next! Let's hear from you all about your last two days out. I need an update on all species before next week. We really appreciate you guys! petertherock P.S. Once again, bet you all that guide, are busy! Keep them clients comin', fish a jumpin',and bank accounts pumpin'! Thought you all would like that! (Seeing that Don & Bill are on this site right now, maybe you're not so busy, well for at least this morning!)
  6. Hey SKMO, Could you update this Upper Lake report? Need the information for next week, thanks! petertherock

  8. Hey Fellows, Could you give me an updated Crappie report as of March 30th - TODAY! Thanks, petertherock
  9. Hi Fellows, Right on Bill! Right on! The Rock is a wonderful fisherie, and if people would use their heads and common sense it can be here and produce great fishing until the Lord comes back! Amen! petertherock Hey Don, Bill, Pete or SKMO, What are the bitin' on at Beardsley today - March 30th! petertherock
  10. Hey Don, Where are you? I bet you're busy too with the guiding thing. When you guides are busy and catching a boat load of fish we know it, because you get quiet for a time! Please let us hear what's up! petertherock
  11. Hey Bill, Haven't gotten a report from you in while. I bet you been busy with the guiding thing! I would also guess you've been catching fish! Please share with us, what's up! petertherock
  12. Right On! I was a local for quite a few years before I moved away. I still have a family boat slip there and our family boat. Listen, man for more consistant numbers of fish in a 3.5 to 5lb. range, you gotta get small. Don't let all the locals fool you either, sometimes the word out on the street is actually a smokescreen for what they're really doing. The guys on this site, Phil Lilley, Bill Babler, Don House and SKMO, I believe can be trusted. Same old story though, when you find a pattern that consistantly scores you a boat load of fish stick to it, and that's no different on the Rock! petertherock P.S. When the tournament is over, let us know how you did and, where you did it and what pattern you used. The Rock is big enough, and the fish are plentiful, that sharing this information won't wipe you out for your next tournament. This is coming from a ex-tournament fishing officiando!
  13. Get Up In The Air, If we were flying over Indian Point in a helicopter or small plane, we would notice it looks very much like an Indian arrowhead sticking out into the lake. Well that's exactly how it got it's name and how you can indentify on a lake map, plus you'll see Big and Little Indian Creeks flowing along side of it with Coombs Ferry Penniseula straight across from it. It is where Silver Dollar City is located and now you can see the Buzz Saw Roller Coaster sticking up above the tree line on the point when approaching from the west, by lake. petertherock
  14. Gee, Golly, Wiz, Nobody's told you yet to skip the whole Branson Scene and make a well-worth the trip over to Shell Knob's Steak-In! petertherock
  15. Hey indyfisher, Don is right on! You'll be lucky to have any day without wind. Those baits under the conditions that Don described are the best this time of the year. I'm going to tell you to try an 1/8 oz. jighead with a 3 inch Bass Pro Shop Triple Ripple Tail grub in white. If you want other colors go smoke or chartreuse varieties. Stick by the white and you won't go wrong. Swim that puppy deliberately and slow, speedin up now and then but for the most part keepin' a steady slow retrieve. Then throw a jerkbait as well. Don't forget the Wiggle Wart in crawdad. I believe you sound as if you'll be fishing the area around Indian Point and the dam, and with these baits in your arsenal you won't go wrong. Just wave that big one at me when you land it! I'll be watching you with binoculars from my hacienda sitting high above on Eagle Ridge. petertherock
