  1. At 5pm - the water has been turned on - the numbers show it - but the flow stays at 20 ? What on earth ?
  2. Why did the lake level below the dam go from 701.3 to 702.5 ? With the 20 cubic feet per second flow provided by the in house unit - That gives us 20 cubic feet per second flow total when not generating. Not 1000 or 200.... twenty. This causes a back up - a back flow situation in the lake which has become more noticeable with this newer raised lake level. Losing flow is beneficial to nothing and no one.
  3. Perfectly executed rear naked choke, and the frog wins.
  4. A special tiny bird like bug landed right on me...
  5. 20 cubic fee per second is difficult on the trout in the summer We sure could use minimum flow.

  11. The most fun thing to do while you are here : 1. Flip over some rocks and look at some scuds / sowbugs. Which are there more of shown below ? 2. Look at the color of the bug each and every day - because the colors change with the life style... or life cycle. Ha Ha!
  12. They are an everyday January occurrence on the Taneycomo river... we are so lucky... Hilarious Seth! Being color blind... birding colors are not easy for me, however, nothing is as striking to me as a red cardinal. I do see them if the light is right.
  13. All kinds of birds... Eagles are majestic - those white birds are a nuisance - but the herons are just mystical... Bird Up! What's your favorite Taneycomo bird ?

  19. I prefer just to keep things simple... mainly using the boat to get from place to place. In fact, I hardly fish out of the boat itself at all - I beach it. No need for a motor - I just row the boat. This link goes to Classic Fly Rod Forum - pictures of boat on Taney. http://classicflyrodforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140219
  20. I use mine quite a bit on Taney - it is the bee's knee's.
  21. Very flat and no current up directly under the dam On the other side of chute 1 here
