  1. I'm eyeballing getting out there Tuesday myself.
  2. Hope all goes well for your wife!
  3. Welcome!
  4. I drove past the park yesterday about 11:30 towing my bass boat. You are right about a lot of people being out.
  5. Adios Dayton.
  6. Fished from noon until 6 PM. There was a decent bite from about noon until 4 PM on windy banks, good numbers, but not the greatest quality. I caught 20 bass, but only 6 keepers, a couple of 2.5 lb. LM's were the big fish. Fish came on the Wart, 4.5 inch Black/blue flake Yamamoto flipping tube, and the Ned rig. Also picked up a near keeper walleye on the Ned. Had a couple of hangups today on the Ned where as I moved the boat over to free the snag, a bass picked up the hung Ned. This happens every once in a while when I'm fishing jigs or t-rigged plastics, but I've never had it happen twice in a day. Funny when it happens. I always say thank you to the bass when they help me out like that Water temps 48 - 50.
  7. That's a nice bass!
  8. Thanks - I might get out there on Tuesday and see if any of them are up in the White river channel.
  9. Yep, I understand that. I'm looking forward to throwing that Spy at schooling top water fish - that is if I can put the top water lure down. I look forward to that time of year where you know you can catch them, it's just a question of what you want to throw.
  10. I bet there's going to be a boat or two up those rivers today.
  11. On another point, SEC still has 2 teams left, but I can't bring myself to root for either KY or FL.
  12. Yeah I was surprised by that call, but I also thought that it was a bad decision for the player to try and bull his way in through double coverage. He should have kicked it out to the perimeter guy once that double dropped down on him.
  13. How many days do they get to pre-fish? I think it's only one day, but not sure.
  14. That is some great fishing, thanks for sharing!
  15. Sounds like the Ned won out over the Spy bait.
  16. Nice one! If you're only going to catch one, that's the size you want.
  17. Looks every bit of 6 lbs. to me.

    Manziel

It will be interesting to see where he goes in the draft and who drafts him.
  19. You're right, Florida - yep going to be a tough one for the Flyers.
  20. No big upsets last night. Dayton continues to advance, but I believe they get Arizona next.
  21. Thanks for the report, it's always interesting to hear how folks do on other lakes. I have an uncle that used to live in Little Rock (he's now outside of Memphis), he and several of his friends used to make an annual trip down to Toledo Bend not long after it was dammed. He said they used to just whack them on spinner baits in the spring. Of course it's gotten tougher since those days, sure would be nice to have a time machine!
  22. Welcome!
  23. Wow, some very nice slabs!
