Rangers will go out tomorrow morning and barricade the park entrances. This is what I am told, if you have questions, you should call the Corps.

Yeah I didn't see them yesterday, for some reason the regional game shown here in NWA was the Houston vs Seattle game. KC is by far the closest NFL team to us, you'd think every game would be televised here.

Chiefs pulled off another one, but this was an expected win. Giants have completely fallen apart.

We got bites from 3 feet out to 25 feet. Shallow bites were in a cove that had really stained water and wind on the bank, but other than that, bites were 10-25 FOW.

I watched the LSU - Georgia game and the Arkansas - A&M game yesterday. Didn't see much in the way of good defence in those games. Arkansas hung in there with A&M, it was an entertaining game. I don't know what to make of these high scoring games, are defenses that bad, or have the offenses become that much better? Saw some pretty good QB play from the LSU and Georgia QB's, of course Manziel also played well. Manziel is so darned elusive, the Hog linemen often got penetration and had shots at him, but he's just too quick for them to sack. Mizzou is going to have a tough time at Georgia in 2 weeks, that's when you'll get a chance to really see what kind of team Mizzou is.

I was out with Jeb in his boat yesterday, we were a couple of miles from the entrance of PC cove when the tourney boats came flying out, there were lots of them and lots of fishermen out on the lake yesterday. We did OK on the bass fishing, 10 total between the two of us with a few 2 lb. fish. Best bite was dragging c-rigs with Trick worms or Ultravibe Speed Craws.

Thanks for the report! I think you and Champ pushed the envelope a little too far today. Trying to get in fishing and golf in one day is just asking too much. No doubt you also planned to watch the Razorback football game this evening. It's tough to pull off a day of fishing/golf/and football watching without something going wrong somewhere. But I commend you for your effort. Me and my buddy Jeb did get out on Beaver today, found a few fish, maybe 10 between us. We fished quite a few spots, just found fish in a few of them. Decent average size, no bigguns, but a couple of 2 lb. fish, mostly LM's. The pattern, if you want to call it that, was mid-cove, on the bottom with c-rigs, dragging Trick worms and UV Speed Craws. Likewise we had no luck on the moving baits such as spinner baits and topwaters. Seemed like the blade should have worked on the windy banks, but I agree with Champ, maybe just not quite cold enough.
