They're playing some decent ball lately. I can't see them making the playoffs however. I think they need to add a good starting pitcher and a big bat or two to be playoff contenders. Rumblings are that the Phillies are willing to part with Cliff Lee, but I doubt the Royals will step up.

Great to see the youngster getting into some fish! That Yammie/Road Runner combo looks like a killer combo, I'm thinking that might fool a bass or two on Table Rock.

I've been using them on 1/4 oz ball heads. I put a drop of superglue on the head to hold them on, darn things are soft and tear up easily. One of these days I'm going to try them on a c-rig.

That has me scratching my head, they were biting real well Thursday AM, I would have thought with the rain Friday and cool weather today the bass would put on the feedbag. Shows you what I know.. -
Cassel stunk, no doubt about it. If Smith can get the ball to Bowe, good things could happen. I seem to remember hearing commentary that Smith could not hit WR Michael Crabtree on long routes in while playing in SF. That concerns me.

I've got squirrel problems this year, never had much of a problem with them in the past, but this year they have been going after the tomatoes. Live trapped 3 of them and relocated them, but still a couple more left that are tomato eaters. can't shoot them, unfortunately, as I live in a no-firearms-discharge city.

I'm hoping that their record is at least good enough that they'll be playing meaningful games late in the season. You never know, but I'd be more confident if they had a solid QB.
