  1. Should be a good one, quite a few guys in contention. Omori sure came out of nowhere.
  2. Very nice, always neat to see those older boats restored.
  3. Sure did seem to throw Skeet's game off. I was thinking they should have slowed down, if they weren't getting that shallow bite. Rojas did throw a shakey head, but he was working it pretty hard for the cold water.
  4. Yep, I agree - I have never fished one of those fish head spins, but now have a pretty good idea on how to fish one in cold water after watching Casey Ashley fish it.
  5. I Highly recommend the dtrs5kprs brand.
  6. What part of the lake do you plan to fish? If you narrow it down a bit you may get some advice from some of the guys that fish that area. There's a topic in the pinned area that has maps of sections of the lake and some info on where to fish. Here is the link: http://www.ozarkanglers.com/table-rock/maps/
  7. Catching has really slowed down. That's one thing you get watching it live, you get to see those dead spells and it gives you a better sense of what it is like, rather than watching a highlight summary that shows guys catching fish every minute. It looks to be really tough fishing out there right now, at least for the guys being filmed.
  8. Yep signed up for CFM. I can figure out on my own how to email those folks.
  9. Well even though I am an Arkie, I signed up. I like the MO Conservation Areas, especially the prairie ones. I would hate to see a good thing get screwed up.
  10. I will be interested to hear how it does with the light baits.
  11. Thanks, I'll record it.
  12. I believe they do the recap the weekend of 3/7 and 3/8, and I also believe it is on ESPN2.
  13. Catching seems to have really slowed down, at least for the guys on camera. Early morning bite, then it has really slowed down.
  14. Internet here: http://www.bassmaster.com/bassmaster-classic-live Ashley already has a limit, slow rolling that fish head spin with a fluke.
  15. Randy Howell has caught a good one and so has Rojas.
  16. You're right Bill so far - Rojas just weighed in 21 lbs. Tracker had him at 15.
  17. If it is Nutech, Bo better get pouring. Anytime a Classic is won on a bait, that bait sells like crazy.
  18. Yeah I hate seeing Davis and McClelland so far down on the list. Hopefully they will have a late rally today.
  19. Ike should have followed up those jig fish with a Ned fished in the same spot.
  20. It's not that I dislike him on a personal level, it's more that he's not bringing a lot to the table in this specific situation. Early, when they had KVD on, KVD did a much better job explaining what the guys were fishing, why, etc. And they spent a lot of time showing them fishing, and for me it was kind of neat to hear what they had to say and be able to watch how they were fishing. And if the anglers had something to say, KVD and the others would let them talk and not talk over them - for the most part. But in fairness, the guys they were showing went cold, not much fish catching going on so I guess they felt they had to fill time with talk. First two hours were the best, in my opinion. But tomorrow they will highlight the 5 leaders, so it may be better coverage - and hopefully we'll get to see Skeet fishing the Nutech.
  21. Ever since Mercer came on, the coverage has gone downhill. Just shut the heck up and focus on the fishing.
  22. I'd like it better if they'd just let the anglers talk about what they are doing, and not show the guys talking back at the booth.
  23. Howell just lost a 4 lb. or so. Came off right at the boat. We have that Wiggle Wart thread where people are commenting on the light bite - that fish bit it real light according to Howell.
  24. Howell just picked up a couple of 3 lbers on a crank bait.
  25. Anybody watching it? I like it - right now they are showing Ashley, he's got a limit, slow rolling a fish head spin with a fluke in deep water.
