I have to agree w/ Bill it was pretty disapointing & didn't like famous Dave's& i love barbecue. The best imop is a small place in Mountain View ARK called Bar-None-Bar-B-Q. Did like the nascar shop though. 9-7=2.

Shuffling / Night Light Fishing
stone9-7=2 replied to gonefishin's topic in General Angling Discussion Archives
I don't know any thing about shuffling except a deck of cards. Do they always catch fish when they do it? I know you don't get shad or fish all the time w/ lights, that's why i take minnows & worms & still have 0 out. I've also had shad & know game fish to be found. Iagree it should be educate not legislate. 9-7=2. -
If your talking about one of those's things you break &then it glow's i don't think it will be bright enough, but you never know try it &let us know. As far as power for floating light run it off an extra 12 volt battery. 9-7=2. Where will you be fishing? what part of lake? 9-7=2.

Kayser I use starfire 2's from cabela's there about $24.00,they light up a pretty big area.they are submersible w/ 10 ft cord. Can't find them at bass pro. Go to www.cabela's. com. 9-7=2. ps i have 4 of them. My mistake just got off cabela's site not offerd any more same company but now in a grren light. Never tried green so can't say how they will work, i'll have to try them. 9-7=2.

Vince, I haven't had any problems drawing fish in w/ full moon,i usally drop an extra light in & that work's for me. 9-7=2
-
Vince, I fish full moon or dark dosen't much matter to me. Never did any good in that area, until i moved down toward's mincy cove & bee creek island. It really start's to get a lot better from a.b.fine hard to put in there, all the way down. Phil, The part of elbow i fish most is on the MO side. If your down that way on a fri or sat night look for a 16' yellow straum boat w/a 50 hp merc, stop & say hi. 9-7=2

Comp are on there way home & with fish. Fished elbow all night's fishing was pretty good. 45'to 60' range on minnow's & shad, last night every thing on worm,s shot with air. Comp left w/ 46 crappie & 9 wally's biggest was 271/4" &real nice slab's 14-17 long. Caught 14 eye's 5 throw back's & about 55 crappie 9 throw back's. We fried fish on tue & it hit the spot. Crappie were 12' to 26' deep & eye's were more or less 30' to bottom. Man it's been a long but very fun week. 9-7=2 good night & good fishing to you.

I have tried that stretch a few time's, never did to good. It got better in that area from mincy cove to bee creek which is not much farther to go. Bever to k-dock lot's of garr & snag's. Haven't fished it in a few year's maybe it's changed i thought it would be a good area to night fish for the fish we have caught in the day. If you give it a try post back & let us know. Were going to elbow &a trip to nolans point this week sat mon wed &thur. 9-7=2

Willie, 8-10 is fine,i hook mine in tail or just below top fin w/ #4 bait holder hook's. Mainly crappie & walleye. This time of year mostly at night. How do you plan on fishing at night, what type of light,s how deep, catch shad? 9-7=2
-
Willie, Go to t-rock forum ,page 2 fishing over light's 5/1/06. Just a little trick. 9-7=2 ps any question's fell free to ask.

Me & my buddy used to fish there to, caught lot's of white bass pretty fast action, this was about 10 year's ago. Then tried bullshoals &haven't been back, except in the spring when crappie's are spawning. I use starfire 2s from cabelas & shad net from mountain home ark. Will have to check with buck about gill net's. Thought i read in rule's ®'s if the squares were a certin size it was legal. about 1/8" to 1/4". 9-7=2

Phil, where do you night fish most? What type of light do you use? How do you catch your shad ? or do you just use minnow's? 9-7=2
-
From a.b.fine clear down to the ferry & then some. With elbow & nolan,s point being the best. Also Norfork lake for striper,s at night doing same thing. 9-7=2

Hi, I have been night fishing for 20 +years. Here is one trick for you to try. I call it the boat slide, tie to bluff or tree & anchor in 60 to 70 feet. You can then slide boat to different depth's till you find fish. When fish stop, you can slide to another depth. This work's great. Hope this is helpfull to you. 9-7=2
