  1. Jason, All I can tell you is that it was longer than 24" as the only thing I had to measure it with was the stick on length tape on the boat. You should try the lights,it's fun but like any kind of fishing sometimes you get skunked. I buy my lights at Bass pro. Starfire ll is what there called. You had some nice eyes. What was your biggest one??
  2. How sad. Thoughts & prayers to the family.
  3. Rusty, Bluff end's with a long point is what I like best. Sometimes I'll set up in the middle of a big chuncky rock bluff also. Elbow when normal will require 4x4. When we went we launched off the road & was tuff turning around because some tent campers put all there stuff on the upper road. Haven't been there lately so I can't tell you for sure if the lower road is still under water or not. Were going again this Fri night if it don't rain but I think we may go in the Tucker Hollow area & try & catch some of Rangermans big eyes. lol Best of luck 2 you.
  4. Glad you liked the pic's. Thanks..
  5. Very nice.....
  6. Look at that another great report from the Bull... You got some fine eyes it sounds like.
  7. Hey nice report. Glad you caught some & found some peace & quiet....
  8. Thank's for the reply... It was just as fun catching them as eating them. Well actually it was more fun catching them. LOL
  9. They were good. Glad you liked the pic's. Thanks for the reply.
  10. Been awhile. My brother comes down from IL every year for a week just to do this... we went the 3rd,5th,7th & 9th all fish came from 16 to 24 feet in 60 feet of water except for the eyes they were 30 feet. Caught 6 eyes only 2 keepers. My brother, son & me on the 7th, was by far the best night ever. 45 Crappie ,1 big eye & a few whites. Minnows & Shiners were the ticket, very few hit the shad. Best bite came around 2 in the morning but caught fish all night. Lots of dinky Crappie & eyes were caught also. My brother,Dad & me on the 9th was pretty good also with 27 fish caught. Fish were caught from Elbow down to Buck creek area. Love the night time. Friday night fish fry was awesome & thats what I'm thinking while holding the Walleye, man your going to taste good. Thats it,hope you like the pic's. Hope the pic's work.
  11. What a topic.. Let me just say this. I do a lot of night fishing with underwater lights 4 total 2 on each side of the boat + 2 lanterns turned down low. Now you would think that with all that light (because the underwater lights put off one heck of a glow) that I would not ever have 2 worry about getting run over. Yeah rt. I can't believe the idiots out there that are just plain BLIND I guess & yes I even flip on the boat lights long before they get close. So it really don't matter if there on or off, some dipstick will still come close 2 running you over... That's why I gave up night fishing on the rock & moved to the Bull, guess what happens there also. Granted not as much but it still does. That's all, carry on men....
  12. Nice report crappiefisherman. Don't ya just love those people that move rt in on ya like it's the only place that hold fish?? That stump is the one that's on the west side of the south bank where a little creek flows in from the north going east on your left rt?? As it's the only stump out there.lol
  13. Gee how about a rock with a hook in it??
  14. I must admit this soon to be change really makes me sad. I see nothing wrong with the way this form is. I think it should remain the same. Why ruin a good thing???? Anyway my 1/2 cent worth, which is'nt much when your mind is made up. Sad sad day.
  15. Three things come too mind!!! 1-The boy who cried wolf. 2-Chicken Little-The sky is falling, the sky is falling. 3-Pinocchio. Thats what comes too mind after reading about some of his claims.
  16. OZARKIPEDIA--A new terminology of fishing & other slang to confuse the english dictionary & non fishing people!!!!!!
  17. I heard a group of unknowns have planted land mines at all public ramps on Bull Shoals & they won't have them removed until next winter.
  18. Nice fish boys!!!!
  19. Hehehe don't ya just love the bull? Bull Shoals that is!!!!
  20. While i may not agree with Sam, he has a rt to say what is on mind. That's what makes this a great site. We can all agree to disagree!!!!
  21. I don't even mess with upper Bull anymore. Lower Bull is the place for me. I gladly share my info most of the time. If people want too share i see nothing wrong with it. Like a few have said it's a big big big lake. Plenty of room for everybody. Just my 2 cents worth. Try lower bull there are lots of great fishing spots all over & i believe lower has just as good if not better fishing than upper.
  22. What i fish for i use the 10" & 18" scale.
  23. HAHA,now i know where all the whites on Bull Shoals have gone. Them suckers ran up Bull Shoals to the Powersite dam jumped it & kept on going till they hit the Table Rock dam never to return to Bull Shoals!!! Nice pic.
  24. Sad,sad, sad that this turned in to what it has.
  25. Hey Trav, a buddy of mine couldnt get his boat to come down on plain unless somebody got in the front of it. I asked him when was the last time he pulled the plug on it,as it sat outside. Well low & behold it was full of rain water. Problem solved. Im sure you have checked that, but thought i would throw it out there just for the heck of it. Dyna-Prop does a great job also.
