  9. Very nice pic's.
  10. I set up on a bluff end that has a long point coming out from it. I tie to the bluff & pull out till i get in 60 t 70 feet of water, then if you want to move to a different depth you can loosen the anchor rope & pull back towards the bluff to where you want, this works prett well also in finding what depth there at. Any more info you might need i'll be back on Thur night.
  11. I remember a few years back the were laying dead on 65 by the 100's. Anybody else remember that?
  12. Best of luck to you, hope you catch some big boy's. I just got to say this. Shad in a ball under the lights in one spot all night or troll a shad all over the place. Me think if i was a game fish i would go where the shad are in on spot & feed like crazy. IMHO.
  13. We used to fish the darn area a lot at night for Stripers, hybirds & white bass. One of the most important things you need is two or three of these. A good stout pole for the Stripers w/ at least 25 pound line for the big boys. Shad will be kinda deep as the water temp is pretty warm. Find a big bluff with a tree line in the water tie to a tree & chuck out the anchor. You will probably be boats on lots of bluffs cause a lot of people night lite fish for stripers on that lake. If you get on a bluff with other boats you got to have the brightest lites to get the shad, thats where the two or three starfirell's come in they will do the trick. Hang on & enjoy the ride. Hope that helps. Any more ? just ask. Don't know if i will be on or not but i do check the fourm everyday. Good luck to you. Ps this all depends on if your night fishing with lights.
  14. I don't mind the drive to elbow. K is a long run to get there. Elbow is easy in easy out & a lot of places to pick from. If it was me & i was only going to go once or twice i would go to Nolands point area. Worth the trip imo. I go on most weekend's so i can go to either place. Hope that helps.
  15. Thur night report, 12 crappie 10" to 14" range. No Walleye 1 catfish & 1 garr i'll call knuckle head because he had something growing out the side of his head, he would dive bomb anything & everything including ramming the boat & trying to sink us.lol What a night.
  16. Went Sat,Mon,Tue Night's. Sat 21 Crappie 14" range 1 23" Walleye 12 to 26' deep in 55' of water. Mon night 8 crappie 10" to 14" range 0 eyes 15' deep 45' of water. Tue night went to Nolands point 28 crappie 10" to 12" range 5 Walleye 18",181/2" two at 20" & 211/2" 10 to 30 ft range 60' of water. Sat & Mon at Elbow. Going tonight my brother will be going home Fri night. Think we will go back to Nolands point. That's it. Hope you all had a great 4th of July. Until next time. Keep your line in the water if you want to get bit. Later.
  17. I got a buddy that can catch fish like that, some people got it some don't. I think any info is better than none.
  18. Sorry no garr for me. I'll just take your word that they taste good.lol
  19. Some would think that, but i have found that is where they are usally at up untill early Jan. They have been that way for a few week's now. I think some people think they are deep this time of year,& they give up. I know one year the snow was falling heavy one day,up in Cricket at this time & belive it or not they were hitting from 2 to 5 feet. it was unreal.
  20. Congrats Shelley.
