Sausage, pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, wings, taters, etc. Big Jim and the Mrs. of Wood Brothers BBQ They've got more energy than me, for sure. Get there Thursday, feed 50 people Friday night THEN cook for the contest Saturday and Sunday before breaking it all down and going home.

Wow!! Breakfast no less. I love shepherd's pie and I've never had it with lamb. Wouldn't want to take the chance of messing up a good thing.

Oh, man. That still makes me laugh. The fact that It was so stupid and he didn't care is what's funny to me.

I've got to try him someday. I've heard lot of great things. "I was born a poor black child." 😄

How tragic -- I'm so sorry to hear that. Prayers said for Brooke, her parents, your nephew and you.

Simple...Pork chop with Johnny's #4 rub, on the indoor cast iron grill. Bush's regular beans drained, added ketchup, yellow mustard, molasses and rub. Johnny's #3 sauce.

Thawed out a half dozen shrimp and pulled stuff together to make some cheesy grits and a sauce. When I turned around, there were two shrimp left. There was a quick trial and the perp was found guilty and sentenced to an evening in the kennel. I thawed out a few more, threw together some stuff for the sauce (diced onion, thyme, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, pepper, tomato paste, beer, butter) and cooked the shrimp in it. For as spontaneous as all this was, it was really pretty good. Now we wait to see what raw shrimp does to little Ruby's tummy...

Marinated jumbo shrimps in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, oregano, hot sauce, salt, pepper. Buttered and seasoned rice with cauliflower with cheese sauce (1) Needed something...gave it a dusting of cayenne and that did the trick. Good ol' cayenne. A little in moderation makes a big difference. (1) Ho, ho, ho! Green Giant.

Several years ago I started working my way through AFI top 100 movies. Get them on Netflix DVD or catch them on TMC for the most part. Love the special features some DVDs have, or the commentary on TMC. I've probably made my way through about half.

Like the sound of the mustard. I grabbed a recipe for mustard chicken off the web a while back, but have yet to try it. Here it is. I think it sounds great. Anything like yours?

We had cloud cover roll in and blot out totality. My first pic was the best, then a whole lot of bad ones, then managed another through a hole in the clouds. At totality, the street lights came on and the katydids started up. I worked on the last picture quite a bit to try to capture what I saw. That's pretty close on my monitor.

Petroglyphs are very cool!! -
I get that, kinda. As I think about it, I had expectations going in to this movie and was really disappointed at the result. Might be able to enjoy it if I watched it a second time.

Assuming you mean for trout? I've always got stimulators in the box, and a lot of the time they're used as an indicator for a nymph down below. I'll have them fairly large for hopper imitations on down. Elk Hair Caddis in various shades and sizes are always in there; they're durable and effective. Can you tell I like them bushy? I gotta be able to see them 😄 There's always a few parachute Adams and tiny white ones in there too. Occasionally I'll tie a dry/dry setup with a dry fly I can see leading small one I can't see about 4 inches down. Get a few flies, learn how to get them to drift naturally and you'll do ok. Don't forget to fish the bottom, especially if you want to catch fish. 😄 Haven't been tying much lately for a variety of reasons. Lots of online sources these days. I try to patronize smaller, locally owned shops when I can.

Shrimp marinated with oil, thyme, ginger, cayenne, etc. and grilled. Chipotle raspberry sauce. Couple easy sides.

Yeah, the 'little boats of Dunkirk' were really something. I read the smallest was 14 feet. They took pleasure boats, fishing boats, life boats, whatever they could get. In all, ~800 boats evacuated 300,000+ British, French and Belgian soldiers in 4 days. Spielberg would have left us with a sense of what a feat that was.

If I would had gotten the way it was put together I might have been able to stick with it. But I was just irritated after a while. Sometimes you've got to watch a movie two times to appreciate it. This might be one of those. Either of you would be at an advantage because you'd know what's going on. I wasn't smart enough to get it.

I think the mole was the pier thIng. I had no idea at the time what they meant by that --read it afterward. The first head scratcher for me was when the guys all get shot up but one makes it through. Then he jogs a couple blocks and there's a couple hundred thousand soldiers on the beach waiting to be evacuated. The whole spitfire thing bugged me too. I thought the flight scenes were realistic, but the unlimited ammo followed by about 15 minutes of gliding on empty, while the sun set, was just toooo much. And, you're right about the history. That miraculous rescue gets lost in all the artsy bs.

Another Adventure by the BilletHead's UTAH!

There's some crazy stuff in this here thread. Sorry for my part in creating it. Now, Utah cutt slam -- that's pretty cool. And you did it in the first few days, right? Man, I've got to find some space in this cluttered up life of mine to get out more while I can still walk. I've got Greenback, Colorado River and Rio Grande on the life list. I'm ashamed to say how long it's been since my last one. I'll just have to live vicariously through you two for now. When's the next episode? I'm on the edge of my seat 😄
