  5. More pics from the Bassing Bob website... They had a killer day! Sounds like their best 5 would've been over 30 lbs!
  6. Unfortunately not by me Allegedly, this bass was caught today by one of Jack Uxa's clients.. And the fish went 10.11 lbs. A truly remarkable bass for LOZ!!!
  7. I also use moss green colored P-Line CX Premium. Always had confidence in it and never have issues with it. I love it enough that I buy 3000 yd spools of 8, 10, 12, and 15 lb
  8. Great report and pics! You guys stuck a few nice ones! I'll be down Easter weekend and hopefully those first 2 weekends of April as well. I've been dying to get on the water and get a piece of this good bite. I haven't seriously fished since Thanksgiving. I'm tired of being cranky and hoarding tackle that I don't need. Time to put it to use!!
  9. So extremely sorry to hear this Al.. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Mary! Sending positive thoughts for good news tomorrow and a quick recovery!!

  14. Congrats to the little man... And I'm glad he's growing up with the catch and release mentality instilled in him! Nice job Bret!
  15. George and I had a blast! Yeah the guy had no clue that bass season was closed. He even had his fish basket ready. When we told him it was closed he said "ahh that's right, but you can still keep spotted bass right?" Lots of folks out today. Beautiful weather!
  16. Well done! You get a pick of that big girl?
  17. To me it comes down to confidence and I have a ton of confidence in the baits I've had custom painted. I also feel I have somewhat of an advantage because 99% of the fisherman out there won't have these colors. In all reality it probably doesn't matter. But I fish better when I have confidence in the bait and color I'm throwing.

  20. It definitely lowers the learning curve for those fisherman that don't put in the time to learn things on their own. And for the people that know how to catch fish, it gives em an exact location they can go put their skills to use. The other thing is... If you see report after report of nice fish being caught and someone tells you exactly where it's happening, does that not make you want to go get in on the fun? Maybe that's not your thing but it's naive to think that a large chunk of internet lurkers aren't just searching for that type of information to go use at their disposal... There's a lot of lazy folks out there and if someone is willing to give them information for free and they don't have to work for it... They will gladly take it and exploit it. The last thing I want when I find a good spot is to go out the next time and see several boats or people sitting on that spot. Rivers fish much smaller than lakes so posting river/stream spots is more detrimental in my mind. These are just my opinions, but I've seen it happen first hand and seen the aftermath... And let me tell you it sucks!
  21. Quickest way to ruin a spot... Seen it happen to a particular smallmouth stream. It's never been the same. I've never understood giving away specific spots or stretches of streams or even lakes... It adds absolutely zero value to an online report.
  22. Well done guys! WeekendWarrior that one looks every bit of 6+. What a tank!
  23. What a stud! Impressive smallie! Thanks for sharing!!!
  24. Happy Birthday Norm... I hope I have half your energy when I turn 59! Sounds like a great day with some nice fish.
