  1. I hope this entire video wasn't shot at table rock, because at the 49 second mark you'll notice all 5 baits have hooks. He obviously wasn't fishing it that way when the fish hit cause they weren't getting hooked. Still an awesome video!
  2. My favorite colors are Dirt (which is Green Pumpkin/Watermelon), Green Pumpkin/Orange, or PB & J... Good luck and post a report with some pics when you get back.
  3. Awesome video... Reminded me of shark week when your watching the seal dumby and out of nowhere a great white appears and smokes it... Thanks for sharing!
  4. I wonder if these pros are as crazy about pre-Rapala Warts like a bunch of us... Or were they throwing the new Wart?
  5. First of all... Congrats on your wedding tomorrow! Second of all.... I bet those guys had no idea they f'ed with a lawyer. I hope you make an example out of these a-holes And third of all... There's no such thing as a bad-looking woman holding a smallie. My wife would probably say the same thing though. Would love to see some pics, and keep us posted on the legal situation with the gun-wielding a-holes
  6. I couldn't agree more. People love pictures and they are guaranteed to make a report better... It's Science! In this day and age, everyone has a camera on their cell phone. I don't doubt that most reports are honest but adding pics of your nicer fish will quiet the naysayers. SHOW ME THE PICS!!!!
  7. Appreciate the honest report Brett... LOZ was tough last weekend too. A few on the Jerkbait and we started to put together a Wart bite right before we had to leave on Sunday but otherwise really tough. Water temps were 41-44 most of the weekend, but rose to 48-50 by 1:00 pm on Sunday. That's when the Wart bite seemed to be starting, Wish we would have had more time to piece it together.
  8. Hahaha... We both just had a good laugh... What section/mm are you at? Niangua? We're at the 25 mm
  9. Lowest we've seen is 41... Highest we've seen was 45.... Has mainly hovered right around 43 though... Bite is a lot tougher than we thought it would be. Mixing the craw in, but no luck yet!
  10. Smalliebigs and I fished several areas of the lake today and really struggled to find the bass... Mainly threw jerkbaits and a-rigs on rock transition banks. We'll be back at it tomorrow... Anyone been on em lately and willing to give is some ideas? Shoot me a pm if you're willing. Thanks, Paul

The 1st one was a little over 18" and was just as fat and healthy as can be. The 2nd one was right at 17.5". Both great fighters! Didn't weigh either one. I couldn't agree more.... This particular fish hit the Zip n Ziggy about 5 feet in front of me. I walked that bait back for 40 yds and not a sniff, and then out of nowhere she smashed it right at the end of the retrieve. Scared the crap out of me!

I'll try to help you out Andy... Here are my 2 biggest from 2013. I haven't even fished yet in 2014 and it's killing me!!!!! Chasing green bass this weekend but it won't even remotely satisfy my needs like the Smallies do...
  13. Awesome... A keeper for sure... And a nice Brown Trout to boot
  14. Yeah there is absolutely no chance bass or crappie will be spawning by next weekend... A-Rig, Jerkbait, Wart, and Jig will be all you need to throw
  15. Very cool and great idea... I'd definitely buy a couple to put on the Coosa... I like C and D... It's a toss up for me
  16. Very cool... Thanks for sharing
  17. Nice report! Cool to see two quality OAF guys meet up and nail some nice fish!
  18. Sam A. Baker is the place I caught my first ever Smallie! On a 3" white grub. It was that trip when my love for Smallies began and I haven't been able to get them off my mind since. Great little park!
  19. Nice... Congrats... Beautiful boat! Now go get it slimed!!!
  20. Awesome report... Glad to see you and your son enjoying the outdoors together. My little guy is still a few years away from that, but I dream about it every day. He's even got the long-arming for the camera down
  21. Nice... I hope you can make it happen! Sounds sweet
  22. Hahaha.... Man I got cabin fever.... Looks like I'm the one going crazy!!!
  23. You saw 74 degree water temps on the Meramec at Hwy 30???? That doesn't sound right
  24. Nice! Great Report... Perfect baits for this time of year
  25. Nice job Mitch and Corey! Perfect example of illegal gigging. Very sad and frustrating but glad you posted it for proof to those that don't believe it's a big issue.
