I have seen this fence at son's creek. There is another one north of Miller's boat dock on Soc Turnback arm. Sometime the farmers built the fences for hogs. With all the rocks in the ground, it would be easier to stack rocks than drive post, and pay for wire. ( LETS GO CATCH SOME WHITE BASS )
Just got back from Stockton, We pulled a 10 foot boat about 1 1/2 miles, cut 10 holes, caught 1 crappie over brush. ice was safe, about 5 inches thick. We wore our life jackets all day. good luck, stay safe!!!!!!!!

Chasing shad is a hard nut to crack, good luck!!!! If you don't have much experience crappie fishing, Just find brush near the channel, from 20 to 25 feet deep, use minnows, fish about 3 feet, off the bottom, and you will catch crappie!!!!!!!
