Don't Know who to be mad at. Pete for show and tell on the chips, me for ordering a case or having to ride to town staring at the bag to deliver to Chief? When I got home heated up leftover chicken wings, opened up a bag of riplets, poured a glass of Dr. Pepper Ten and began to feast. My biggest question is do the chips constitute a vegetable? Me thinks Red Hot Riplets should be the official chip of OA, BilletHead

Oh no trout is a luxury item thus it will be taxed like Smallmouth. You see where I live I mostly fish for trash warm water species near and dear to me from largemouth to bluegill, carp etc. Actually I am happy with anything I can fool. Thus I don't exceed the taxation requirement most of you do Still too easy. We live beyond our means during the summer for two weeks in the upper crust wild trout waters. Can I hear an AMEN! Cry uncle and careful how you vote, BilletHead

Chief did you get you load unloaded? Reassembled? BilletHead

hehehhe I love it. Now I heard Bernie on the news last night say he will see that the upper crust smallmouth fishermen, oops politically correct FISHER PEOPLE that make a certain amount will be taxed more of their amount of smallmouth to be caught thus those fish will be redistributed to those with a smaller incomes. So the way I see it the upper crust should quit their jobs and fish more and maybe keep one a year to eat because you will not be able to afford steaks. Choices, choices choices? Vote smart people and get the word out you will be limited to the amount of fish you would like to catch, eat or release. This is way to easy, BilletHead

Wew, That is so much better Mitch. I was really worried about you there for a while. I think my heart even skipped a beat or two. OK I have hope for you now, but still worry about Ness and his creamed peas, BilletHead
-
Creamed peas, they look like baby food on your fork and baby poop in a pile on your plate! YUK! Sweet big bells like red, orange and yellow. The Cubanells will be sweet but not real, real sweet. Eat them raw, fry, stuff em and bake them. I really like to stuff them and throw em in the smoker to cook. Raw cukes I like but burp them some. The burpless cucumbers actually work. BilletHead

That is a real bummer Mitch. I bet your lovely wife slips some in her Asian dishes on you. I suppose the ones I will plant in this years garden for you I will have to eat, sorry for you loss. I feel like sending you a sympathy card . If I do too many hot ones I pay the next morning. Probably deserve that, BilletHead
-
What Mitch? Surely you jest? Big difference in sweet bells and those nasty original I guess you call them green bells. Got to love the sweet ones. As for peas shucked raw right out of the garden they are the best, cooked whole I can tolerate but creamed? One if the most disgusting thinks created! BilletHead

Liberal poachers maybe. You see all these fish will be divided equally . Does not matter what you do with it. One will eat his catch, one will waste it on the bank, one will release it back to the water to gig it another time. They are everyone's fish. Like printing money just raise and stock more. They don't care if they are wild fish, they just want their fair share. . I wanna see a summit fish off. Two part lake and stream event. Two parts each fly fishing and gear chucking required by the teams. Need to have primary voting , I know who my moneys on, BilletHead

Yes and I would like this several more times if I could. I am becoming disenchanted with all if this right now. We shouldn't be as this is some serious crap and our country depends on the outcome. I know there are checks and balances and if we elect one of these folks what they say they want to do is not set in stone. Still as comical as it is it is our choice. Lord help us :). BilletHead

I will get a picture in the morning, Billethead

Yes I do and I may have another thing you may be interested in. Can you haul personal item on the paying job? BilletHead

If they only knew about them. They will soon as a bag will be heading to Nessville for a try. We need a semi load to travel across I-70 to the West. So there you go Chief pick up a real trucking route . BilletHead

Looking good there John! The tray of Lettuce i posted earlier in this thread has gone bat crap crazy. Tomato tray sprouted well and peppers planted same day as maters just coming up. Got one bed covered and soil is warming nicely. Going to have to get the lettuce in there before it gets any larger. Thanks for the history lesson. We like the brandywines but did not have the best of luck two years in a row. BilletHead

The Chartreuse shuttlecock turned out pretty good. Comparing this one and the previous white one they are sized different. White one is four inches on a #2 B10S, this one is on a #1 B10S five inches to the back of the saddle hackle, add an inch to make it six to the back of the flash. Kind of neat to tie up. Layers in front of each other a bit daunting thinking materials are beginning to wad up but this gives it the large hollow type profile that won't collapse while stripping back, BilletHead

Yep tulip fabric paint, when that is dry superglue eyes on then clear cure goo to set them better. What process are you using and how is it working out? Thought about trying to just set eyes into the fabric paint but don't want to mess up the hard work getting the fluffy head.. Easy to mess up. BilletHead

Yes Lancer I think the dubbing brushes would be much better but using what I have right now. I may purchase some next trip to the shop. I think when we try to replicate any pattern it is hard to get things exactly the same. unless you are the inventor it will never be exact. Tweaking puts a little of us in the tying process. Some good news my chartreuse one is coming along nicely. Now if I can get those eyes on straight :). BilletHead

Thanks Ronnie, Some trial and error and trying to follow this tutorial. http://www.themidwest-drift.com/stouffers-shuttlecock Between this and I have a couple of Jim's for comparison. An old one he made with craft fur and then a newer on with buck tail. I am not thinking the one in the midwest drift and the one of Jim's is exactly the same? I am not going to do a dissection of Jim's to see and mess it up. I had to do my own dubbing brush. I have a chartreuse one in the vice now and if I don't mess it up I will post it BilletHead

uh going to be fat city today. That is one good looking sammich. If we had room to plant butternut squash we would. Like the idea of keeping them all winter. You guys should try this dip. http://simmerandboil.cookinglight.com/2015/12/19/wow-youve-got-to-try-butternut-queso-fundido/ Really easy to make. We did not use the sliced radishes. Now there is warm lemon rosemary shortbread cookies coming out of the oven. Good grief I am going to founder today. BilletHead

Doesn't matter if you watch the game or not this is a good excuse for snack foods and snacking. Butternut Queso Fundido and yes the base is pureed butternut squash. I was a bit apprehensive when the Mrs. wanted to do it. Well I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Really good, cheesy and a more healthy for you. BilletHead will be on tasty food overload today

This is a good one. Chocolomo. We used venison with the wobbly bits or offal consisting of chicken gizzards and hearts. Did have a deer heart but wanted to save it for grilling. Very tender dish and tasty. It is BilletHead approved! http://honest-food.net/2016/02/05/chocolomo-recipe/ Had fried flour tortilla strips on the side, washed all down with a cold frosty beer. Had to smell it all day cooking!

Well ain't you fancy! Had my bowl of homemade granola cereal which keeps me going when I sometimes eat not so good stuff. You are right Wrench it is going to be a good day, BilletHead
