  1. You can call Roaring River Park Store at (417) 847-4971

  3. Found 18 nice ones today in the Lebanon area, first find for the year, been over the same are in the last 2 weeks about 6 times. Found all in the same spot.
  4. The best way to find your answer to any regulation is to call MDC Regulations Dept. in Jeff City at 573-522-4115 ext 3501
  5. I just called MDC regulations dept. in Jeff City and they said we could use up to 3 Flies as long as they were single point hook, so dropper flies are legal.
  6. In Zone 2 from the posted sign at the mouth of Dry Hollow Creek to the Old dam in the lower campground only flies may be used. Definition of a Fly for Roaring River State Park Fly- An artificial lure constructed on a single point hook, using any material except soft plastic bait and natural and scented bait as defined above, that is tied, glued or otherwise permanently attached .(flies may be fished with or without a spinner attached; single-point hook spinners commonly referred to as a rooster tails may be used in waters designated for flies only) In Zone 1 at Roaring River you could use more than 1 fly because you are allowed to use artificial lures. It is the same Definition for a Fly for Bennett Spring but the Zones are different , so check your zones of what to use.
  7. You stated yesterday , C&R was over in the second week of Feburary this is almost the middle of March if you were using bait or did not have a trout permit you were lucky you didn't get a ticket. Don't Know how the other people got a Park permit (Daily Tag) during C&R.
  8. There is a sign on a post stating that a daily trout tag is required, not to hard to read, if you want to fish that part of the water spend $3.00 and enjoy!
  9. Circle J to reopen April 1 New owner says crews will begin working on improvements in the coming days Posted: Monday, March 9, 2015 12:00 am By Julie Turner-Crawford The Daily Record jturner@lebanondailyrecord.com | 0 comments When Don Gibson of Arbela, Mo., bought the Circle J Campground and associated properties at a public auction in November, it was announced that he planned to keep the campground as a campground. The announcement brought cheers from those gathered at the auction, which was conducted by the Internal Revenue Service after the former owners failed to pay taxes for several years, but a perceived lack of movement by Gibson had many wondering when, or if, they would ever be allowed back on the property where they have their campers and mobile homes.
  10. When is he going to have the camp ground fully open, heard that it could be a year or more.
  11. When you buy a lifetime license you get the trout permit with it for lifetime also, you don't need a MO. Fishing License at the age of 65 or older, but you still need thr trout permit. Laker67 made a post about this same subject on Feb. 28 which was the last day are 2014 license expire
