I have also been told by a very good source that the Tuna Tubs can be held responsable for there wakes. With the new Marina at Cape Fair the boats have showed up in a big way it's bad had a 45fter here last sunday, I have a 518 ranger and was fishing a ledge when he come by the 1st wake lifted me out of the water I broke over the 2nd and was swamped by the 3rd. Something needs to be done soon about the sizes of these tubs

Guys to me your picking one of the hardest times of the yr to fish the Rock. But still lots of fish can be caught, you just have to go a little deeper and stay opened minded on what you do. A cloudy morning that time of the yr you can run up the James and throw blades early around the deep trees and should be ok it just won't last long. 3/4 oz jigs on the ledges and 3/4oz white spoons on the same places once the sun is up will be good. Find deep docks and jigs and spoons small worms will get you lots of numbers. Good luck

Wak thanks for venting I have felt the same way for about 3 mths now. The part that gets me is our taxes paid for this place and and are still paying for them but they put the money where THEY want

I guess I could understand them fixing the big stuff 1st. but at the CF park there rebuilding camp sites that was not flooded, and there Hydro Seeding grass where grass won't grow. My guess they get our money every yr. and thats all there is to that. For you guys comeing to CF watch out for the big holes around both ramps and at Mill Crk have fun throwing chat all over your boat when you pull it out.

Has any one noticed the ramp problems at lake? I have used the Mill Crk ramp 3 times this yr for tourneys and use the Cape Fair ramps wkly, the ramps and the parking lots are in bad shape, CF both ramps in the park have huge holes in and around the ramps , if the water is up you can not see these holes and people back into them, Mill CRK same way and the parking sucks. We give them $35 a yr for a pass is anyone else tired of this ? What can we do if anything is any of the other Corp ramps like this or just these two.?

I never said any thing was illegal about bed fishing, when I started off 30 some yrs ago as a boy on a creek it was there I learned alot about bass by catching bedding fish. I don't have a problem with it I just don't do it, and I never questioned Larrys ethics just made a observation about the younger but as Bill said it is money fishing. Don't have a problem with them doing it , it is the same as a good grub scrubber it is a tool and it's all part of the game. 2 things I need to get alot better at .

The team that won the only time you see them fish or at least the younger is when there on the beds

Fished the Joe Bass today and sucked had 2 early on grubs 7 lbs and some change, Have been catching them on stick baits but that was gone as well as soon as the sun went away and the wind started the bite went to he_ _ for us don't know what happend just wish someone could tell me.

I have seen this in late summer and fall when catching fish out of trees and brush piles. Was always told that it was from being in thick of it all. I have weighed them in before and have not had a problem. But I have never seen it in the spring and with crap hanging out of them. I have seen alot of it in the mid to upper James but the worst I have seen it is at Truman

I moved here 5 yrs ago to fish and was lucky enough to find a very good job in the area. 1.5 miles from home. I fish every wkend and love it. I had a chance to buy a slip and did not. I live in Cape Fair and I can be at Shell Knob Kimberling, State Park all with in 25 mins. We love the Cape Fair area 45 min to Springfield and 20 mins to Branson and we have season tickets to SDC and we go see lots shows love it

Here is my 2 cents worth I bought Falcon Mark Davis cranking rod about 7 yrs ago . I throw all DD 22's on it and it was the best $125 I have ever spent yes you can feel everything.

Hey everyone new to this but my 2 cents worth. Yes the coverage was bad, if you only knew how bad it was. I drove one of the camara boats the last day. The best stuff never made it past the cutting room. It was a great time and got to see some great stuff and meet some nice people . The man who won it was above Eagle Rock and the crankbait he was throwing was a DD 22. The best part of the day was watching Ike go Ike because he thought myself or the camara guy was a omen he went nuts. I didn't like the man before that wkend but after talking to him on Fri nite and around him on Sat he is a good man just intense and trying to make a buck. It was a great time and when the Tour comes back in March I recomend you try and sign up to drive a camara boat. They have already ask me to and it pays. Just my take
