  1. This is for when you can't throw the Yumbrella ?
  2. I like that PDL rig with the smaller baits above the bigger rig with the business end below. I see their in Spain.
  3. Just saw that on Lake Expo. Mack creek got hit and somewhere up around Coffman, thought I saw Racoon Road with damage.
  4. I have not bought a crappie rod as of yet, I use my bass spinning rods which I use a loomis 7 ft medium IMX which may be a bit heavy for crappie but I don't remember loosing any and I feel the subtle ticks
  5. Wrench lets go to PB2 / Alhonna and relocate the relocated after BBB ?. I did that last year, if I have the time I may see if I can transport a limit to home waters. PB2 by far has the most released fish and biggest problem and is noted for the tourney anglers hanging around there.
  6. It would be interesting to tag some of these tourney fish released at pb2 to see just how far they actually go, some stay and others spread out throughout the area. A release boat dispersing the fish is the best we could hope for I think because of the $$$$ like others have said. It is just amazing that like Big Ed said a lot of those fish were caught in dam area as well as the gravois area and trucked to pb2 and yet that area just keeps producing.
  7. No doubt, 16 lb and you finish 40th, WOW!
  8. Plenty of a-rig fish there
  9. Yah they like them crawfish, that's for sure.
  10. The wife is up in StL so decided to go play. My elbows were barking at me so I left the a-rig at home for a change as that is all I have been throwing lately. Was a nice day with plenty of wind but I just could not get any love on the stickbaits, just a few small Ks and LM. Went to a channel bank back in a cove and went to work with Tackle HD Hi-Def craw. Ended up catching 2 good ones and one of them in a brushpile I just put out yesterday which was pretty cool. And the drum like that craw to ?. Water temp 48 to 50 at end of day.
  11. Went out for a few hours at end of day and fished in Linn Creek the whole time with around 8-9 fish and no keepers for us today. Never picked up a crankbait, thought about it. Mostly threw a-rig on windy banks and jig out of the wind.
  12. This ought to last you a while ?
  13. I would think the Walters should be biting good about now
  14. I have never used ramp in back of Linn creek but lake is down 5 foot so any of the private ramps I would be leary of. Like wharfrat said larry Gale if you want to fish Niangua or PB2 for Glaize. I have not been out but a few hours for a couple days recently and have not tore them up but yes catching some up pretty shallow on stickbaits and some corners of docks as well. A-rig will work as well as wiggle warts. Water temp was around 48 a couple days ago. If the storm we had last night dirtied up the water might try slow rolling a thumper spinnerbait. Good luck, supposed to be nice this weekend and all the way thru next week.
  15. I have not heard anything, just heard some work was going to be done on dam and nothing else was said. Don't think levels will be drastically changed or they would be warning people I would think.
  16. Usually around 654
  17. I had a couple guys down for a couple days and they said no bass rods in the boat, only crappie. We struggled mightily with only catching around 9 or 10 a day. Seemed like they didn't want anything moving cause most were on a slow fall and mostly in condo docks around 8 to 10 foot deep. The ones we caught ate good though ?. Good time with good friends, we will get them next time.
  18. Been pulling water last night and today, was around 655.20 earlier. I guess their finally going down to 654.
  19. Well I heard the DNR had a change in heart and the launch fees for 2017 will remain as they were previously at $5 and $50 for season pass. I guess they received an ear full ?
  20. Either gravois mills or Coffman ramps as for public in gravois that I know of, might be a private ramp but I don't know of it, wrench might. That is his neck of the woods.
  21. $$$$$$$$
  22. Welcome aboard Big Ed! Good luck with the back surgery.
  23. Or just buy the flash mob jr from Walmart with the good swivels.
  24. Just a heads up that I was up in StL and went to BassPro for their sale they had on the flash mob jr. For $9.97, well I didn't notice but all the barrel swivels have changed to a cheap chrome version of swivel, taking mine back next time in StL. Just a heads up for those who use them
